I am sooo sorry for the late update, my sister just got married so I didnt get any time to write an update but now its over and its the hoildays so expect an update almost every week... dont want to make any promises because i tend to forget... sorry haha anyway please do read my new update as you are here😳. thank you for the comments and likes guys they mean alot.
Chapter 38: Tum Hi Ho

Arnav and Khushi turned to look at the door and found what they least wanted to see, the Four amazing A's. Arnav who knew this was going to happen; he knew he will never ever get time alone with Khushi if he lived on the same planet as his crazy family.
Khushi: we were just coming down
Aman: no need Khushi Bhabi ji we were just here to pick up the flowers. You and your Arnav can have a bit more time alone if you want...
Akash: no no Aman you getting it all wrong I am sure that Arnav doesn't mind us here, he loves us to much to even let us go
Anjali: Akash no we are ruining a moment... come come let's go
Anjali said turning around to leave, she stopped and then turned around and said 'oh, don't be late guys your engagement starts in about 10 minutes or you guys want to wait for the next date?
Arnav: no di we are coming
Alok: why do we always disturb them?
Akash: pay back
Khushi who was laughing inside and admiring her soon to be in laws... She looked at Arnav who was just giving his sister and brother a deathly look. "I truly dislike you guys" said Arnav with a smile and hands together.
Aman: no seriously now… no joking around hello hi bye bye you want to get engaged lets go.
They were about to leave the room when Lavanya came with her clique... "Where you going with Khushi? We are going to take her down with us... the right way. Anjali di your mums calling you to bring Arnav down so we could start the engagement"
Anjali: look I told you, we didn't come up to annoy you
Arnav and the 4 A's went down.
Lavanya: okay Khushi this is it, like this is the midpoint! You are going to get engaged today and that to Arnav Singh Raizada. Girls come let's do her touch ups
Khushi: guys I look fine
Lavanya: you need to look perfect! Down stairs is the press they will be asking question and they demand answers Khushi
Khushi: stop over reacting calm down... now shall we go.
Jiya: someone wants to quickly get engaged
Khushi: it's not that... guys I really love him
Khushi sat down on the bed "how can someone be so nice and prefect and so nice to me, he makes me feel so important... I don't want anything to come between me and him".
Jiya: awww Khushi, we all know you love him we can see it from your eyes you guys are like made for each other
Nia: Khushi you deserve all this happiness and even more you have always been the perfect daughter, sister and friend and now you will be the perfect daughter in law and wife. Let's not forget the prefect mother to Prem.
Khushi: thanks guys
Lavanya: should we do a touch up now?
Khushi: yes please
Nia went up to Khushi and started to fix up her makeup and hair, while Lavanya was fixing her dupatta on her shoulder and Jiya was standing their looking at Khushi thinking about beautiful and amazing her best friend was and is.
Khushi: why are you looking at me like that?
Jiya: just Khushi, you are so beautiful and you're amazing. Hold on! She touched her eye and then touched Khushi behind her ear to take of all the bad eyes.. she stepped back and said "done… I am just scared if anyone gives u nazar"
Nia: come Khushi lets go
Khushi got up and walked towards the door with her best friends.
Standing in the center of the room people all around but his eyes were on one… his Khushi! Even though he saw her before, seeing her walk down the stairs to come and get engaged to him made him wonder how lucky he was. His eyes boring into hers, she came closer and his heart beats had started to beat at a faster speed. She shyly looked down and again up to see his face. Everyone clapped and cheered them.
Arnav's mum: Khushi beti you look beautiful
She said showing her hand so she could take her to Arnav, everyone was around them and Khushi and Arnav was facing each other sending messages through their eyes.
Aman: stop talking through your eyes and let start
Arnav: shut up
Khushi took the ring and held Arnav's hand, she was shaking but her eyes didn't leave Arnav eyes… she slipped the ring onto Arnav's finger and everyone cheered and clapped. Arnav who was also shaking but looks like he was sweating a bit as well. He took the right and held Khushis hand like she did to his and put the ring onto her finger.
Anjali: awww look at these two…
Nia: they are so cute
Arnav and Khushi went towards Nani and took her blessings and then they went to the other adults to take their blessings. Khushi hugged her friends.. "no need to be scared Khushi" Arjun said while hugging her.
Khushi: when are you and Lavanya getting married?
Lavanya: don't worry about us Khushi, we will it's your turn now!
Arjun: Khushi soon
Everyone was chatting and eating, drinking and having fun, Arnav was introducing Khushi to some of his clients and friends and Khushi smiled and make small talk with them.
Client: congratulations on your engagement Mr. Raizada
Arnav: thank you…
Client's wife: you are very beautiful Khushi and you and Arnav look prefect together
Khushi: smile and looked at Arnav
Arnav: if you would please excuse me
Client nodded and Arnav took Khushi along with him towards Aman and Anjali
Aman: how you doing love birds
Arnav: we are good actually just bored meeting these clients
Anjali: KYA!!
Aman: you're saying this
Anjali: hats of to you Khushi
Arnav: I do get bored of work guys
Akash: since when, your like a machine who keeps working, who knew falling in love would change almost everything about Arnav
Alok: he should had meet Khushi long time ago
Arnav: guys I am serious
Anjali: ok I will do something
Anjali went of the DJ and told him to put a slow song on and tell all the couples to get on the dance floor as the newly engaged couple will be dancing.
DJ: can everyone make a round of applause for the wonderful beautiful couple Arnav and Khushi to come and dance.
Everyone cheered again and clapped.
Arnav smiled and held out his hand from Khushi and they both made their way to the dance floor.
DJ: would all the couples come and join them as well please.
Alok and Anjali went, Payal and Akash and Arjun and Lavanya went to dance…

Arnav took Khushis hand and pulled her closer to him and Khushi placed her hand on his shoulder and they slowly danced to the song. Arnav placed his hand on her waist and they moved along with the song.

Khushi closed her eyes and danced with Arnav.. her hand touched his which were around her waist

Khushi step forward, but Arnav pulled her back again into his arms closer to him. You could feel the passion of love they had for each other.

Arnav kissed her cheek and then turned her around facing him again and pulled her close and again slowly moved with the song.

Her span her around again… she saw didn't stop looking at him.. it was like they were in a different world and no one was around just them two… she knew he was the one nothing else could ruin it and they were made for each other. She rested her head on his shoulder while they slowlt danced.

The other couples who were also in their own world, looked beautiful together dancing and looked lost in their love.

I love you Khushi… he whispered as they slowly ended their dance with the song.
Khushi smiled and looked around and saw everyone looking at them with smiles and awww faces… she blushed and walked off to Lavanya who smiling at her.
On the other hand the music had stopped and everyone had stopped dancing but 1 couple, a very cute couple… Arnav didn't leave a chance to take his revenge so he slowly went up to them.
He tapped anjalis shoulder who was just staring at Alok both still in eachothers arms…
Cough cough
Anjali looked around realizing what just happened she looked down and blushed
Arnav: the songs finished what were you two doing
Alok: Arnav... you know
Arnav: I know what?
Aman: oh ho Anjali di, we all know your love is beautiful
Arnav: what were you guys thinking about?
Akash: shall we get you guys remarried?
Aman: what a beautiful idea
Alok: oh shut up
Anjali looked down embarrassed and run towards her mum and hugged her shyly.
Arnav: the tables have turned Hahaha
Akash: no it hasn't at least Alok didn't kiss Anjali slyly on the cheek while dancing
Alok: we all had our eyes on you
Arnav: just because you guys haven't got the guts to kiss your own wife's in public
Akash: excuse me
Alok: we are in public Arnav…
Aman: awww how sweet
Arnav: shut up Aman
Lavanya: clam down guys, are you guys always like this?
Aman: yes people call us the 4 A's not including Arnav but I guess we should include him to and call us the 5 A's
