Angie, Sangeeta Karpure was Sumitra in Imagine TV's Ramayan, and she was just fantastic in that serial - making Sumitra shine. Since then, she's only played villain roles in serials 😆 - like she was there w/ Pooja in Sarvagunn Sampann, where she was her vampish devrani who contributed towards costing Swara her marriage. I really wish she had returned to play a positive role.

Thanks for the update Surya. I liked your style of writing. Your update had liberal doses of humour which had me smiling.

As for the show I like Ram jumping up to kill Taraka. I also liked the exhange of glances between the mutual admiration society formed between Narad and Manthra. Narad had a twinkle in his eyes and he wound up Manthra who ended up whining to Dashrath who at the end rolled his eyes.😆

@ Vrish-Sangeeta Kapure is a very good actor with a very good comic timing. The last show that I saw had her in a comic role. She was propbably brought in as a negative character but her comic timing and her ability to make the audience laugh made the makers change her role to one of a empty headed good hearted person with a knack of dropping pearls of wisdom without even realising that she is dropping them. That used to wind up the negative characters in the show, specially one of them who was also her MIL in the show.

@Vrish and Angie. I have stopped expecting any authentic depiction of any of the stories from the epics or the scriptures in these shows. I was also wondering when Ram jumped in the sky that why will he need Hanuman if he could himself do that.
