Indian Soaps

Have you notices how these sopas protray things around us. No good coincedence happens to good, hardly any1 supports them or people don't trust them. Evil get lucky everytime, good coincidence happens to only them. As though they are trying to show universe itself supports bad. Evil triumps most of time.

I remember while growing up we were always showed that positivity is paid by unvierse. It pays to be good. When you are good god or nature or unverse supports you. Atlest thats how i remember.

But now what our generation-x watch's is , its lot easy to be Pia than Bani, it pays to be kavari than saloni. If you are good you suffer more, things are harder for you.

I am surprised do we have less negativity around that they too to have show more in name of so called realism or progression. What progression is where you show it jutified to cheat your sisi or for that cheat your husband, or even not been humane to others.

These are just my 2 cents

I completely agree with the whole negativity...Based on these soaps what we learn is this:
1. Lying is good...coz we will stay happy
2. Betray everyone...since that is the only way you can get what you want
3. Dont correct the wrong...whats the point when it does not affect you.
4. Dont speak up for the truth...does it affect you?
5. Hide facts....share only what helps you in your mission.
6. Being Selfish and self centered is a "IN" thing
7. Coincidences happen only to the evil.

I agree this is entertainment, and it may not affect grown ups as much. But the fact remains that in India (and most Indian households) kids watch what parents do. They are getting this impression that Evil prevails.
Another truth about India is that we have a very large population who is very ignorant and gullible.

I am just glad that I dont have Star TV at home so I am not subjected to the other bad things in such shows,
