Wait a second, you dedicated this to ME? You DEDICATED this to me? So so so many hugs to you, KBR. You are the sweetest. And I don't know if I am nice or not but I am definitely lucky to have found such beautiful people on this forum. Thank you, KBR. I don't think I have words to tell you just how wonderfully surprised and happy you made me with that dedication :)

Now to the update...(almost wish I didn't have to do this because after that warm fizzy feeling of your note, the moment between Arnav and Khushi and Cookie and Khu-di, we got Dadi

I dont understand her at all. I imagine that the woman is around 70 years of age - probably closer to 75 at the very least. And that makes me think of my own grandmothers - both of them. I cannot imagine that women who are supposed to be warm, wise, supportive because of what they have seen in life - can be like this...Does she know no end to her manipulation? And to what end? What purpose is it going to serve by trying to intimidate a stranger - a woman who will be part of your grandson's life, your daughter in law? And why not talk to Arnav - because he will not think before turning her down ruthlessly, put her in her place?

I couldn't imagine being in Khushi's place and yet, she was so composed and mature about the whole thing. Maybe the elderly should be learning from the young ones for a change. Their conversation was reminiscent of the conversation between Ms. Elizabeth Bennett and Lady Catherine de Bourgh, between Margaret Hale and Mrs. Thornton - and just like those women, this one has spunk!

Sigh. I cringe at the mention of Dadi and what is coming up. Nervous. Really.
