But moral of my rant:
I agree that salman had an advantage in the previous seasons. But in my opinion, he did not have an advantage this time as his partner is not trained

I had to bring DD in to make my point. Popularity/Votes cant cover up sucky performances for too long
I will just like to say he got lucky this time as she proved to be a quick learner. But he was surely not given any advantages from the very start.This time it was clearly due to his hard work

DD is far popular than any of her counterparts and anybody can vouch for that. Her fan base is very very strong and that it itself is an advantage and compared to other female celebs(except Lauren of course) when jhalak started DD was better than others so combine everything and salman still got lucky

Just as @kankabhor said Sal is now very popular and one of the faces of jhalak..that is why they want him to be till the end and also he is a strong choreo so pairing him against the best would definitely make a strong jodi!
