Did anyone else think that the beginning of today's episode was overly dramatic and very filmy. I mean woh tot jayega...barbaad ho jayega. Give me a break. For a action/suspense show...dont you all think that Sakshi was just really dramatic today. You can have romance in a murder mystery...many western shows do it. But they do it in a more subtle manner, which is what was lacking today. But then again Indian shows are not known for subtlety...far from it.
Also, it was so sudden. I had no idea Sakshi felt so strongly. I mean just last week I was thinking Sakshi definitely likes Arjun, but I doubt she loves him yet. And then voila...today's episode. Apparently she loves him. When did this happen? Where the hell was I? Sleeping?
Does anyone else feel like they need to just slow down. I mean we have heard nothing of Sikander in forever. We don't even get a glimpse into Arjun's feelings anymore...his memories about his dead wife, or how lonely, and hurt he is.
Shouldn't they deal with Sikander first. If not catch him, but atleast progress in catching him before they deal with Sakshi-Arjun love story.
And come on...Sakshi faked her injury because she loved Arjun and she wanted him to share something with her. She wanted to be closer to him. While I may understand that, but it's clearly wrong. What did she think...he would never find out. Beside that, do you really want sympathy over a lie from the person you love. More than that, do you want to start a relationship with a lie. What the heck was Sakshi thinking. The excuse was just ehhh because while I could understand, it was just plain wrong. She played with his emotions. And apparently, she already knows that he is hurting...since she told Aisha today...and still she played with him further knowing he is hurt to start with.
Before I watched today's episode I foolishly thought that maybe the reason she lied may have something to do with her father. We haven't seen Sakshi's father in a while, so I thought maybe we would get to see him today. I have no idea why I thought it had anything to do with her father since clearly he isn't important in her life right now. It seems that way atleast.
Also, its not as if she has shared anything with Arjun so why does she expect him to tell her anything?? According to Arjun, she is a stranger. He dislikes her attitude, he does not understand it, and he even wanted her fired. So clearly they are not friends. The only reason he treated her nicely for a while was because he was guilty...not because he changed his mind about her or he liked her. He was simply guilty.
I don't know...this whole thing about Sakshi lying should not have been written in the storyline at all. It really tainted her character. She was always unprofessional, but now she comes off as a liar...as someone unreliable.
I can't help but think of Riya. I know I shouldn't bring her up, but how can I not. She was so much better in so many ways than Sakshi. She was much more professional. She knew when to joke and when to work. She made mistakes too...remember her snooping around...but she accepted them and learned from them. She overcame her fears...with the shooting...and sacrificed her life for others. I don't think I can say any of that for Sakshi. And it's the writer's fault. What is Sakshi's purpose really. What is she in the show for? She is not a detective. She cannot handle weapons. She is not a forensic analyst. She literally just stands around most of the time. And the only time she had anything to say is when she has some general information about the victim or something else...which usually isnt all that important. And that too the writers make her say that otherwise she really would have nothing to do. What the heck were the writers thinking introducing a character that had no role????
And what was going on today with ETF. Do you ever bring unarmed personnel into a potentially violent conflict? And even if you do...do you not leave them in them outside in a locked car or do you let them walk around like its a playground. But ofcourse they have to let Sakshi behave like a bumbling idiot otherwise how would Arjun come to save Sakshi?
I dont really want to dislike Sakshi. But as soon as she came on the show she annoyed me. She never shut up. I remember once there was a body lying on the ground and she was joking. How insensitive. Now the writers have calmed down on that front. They aren't making her seem like an insensitive moron, but then they go and have her manipulate someone's emotions and she reemerges as insensitive. Anyways, so for the past few weeks...the time when she didnt joke around dead people...I started liking her more. And so when we found out what she did...I just feel sad. I wish it hadn't happened and we could just go back in time and have it never happen. Frankly, I liked Arjun and Sakshi's relationship the past few weeks. Even if out of guilt, he still was caring for her in his own way. That relationship could have emerged into something beautiful if only she hadn't done what she DID!!!
You know if Sakshi was the only complaint I may not even have made this thread. But am I the only one who feels the storyline's is lacking a lot these days. The cases are so simple. Today's case. A guy got murdered. We find out he borrowed some money from some thug. And viola...who is the murderer the thug. The only twist was that the body was stolen. Let me see if tomorrow's episode is any more intelligent or exciting than today's. It's just that there is no suspense element. We all know who did it since the beginning so what is the point. Even Arjun doesnt seem all that smart these days. He used to be a great observant and could solve cases that most other people couldnt, but these days he also ehh. And it did not used to be like this. Before the writing was much better. But these days...
