I absolutely love the little touches in the scenes that may seem small but add to the overall picture. I've also re-watched (a few times!) the music video for the Jaan track because it just says so much more of what's going to happen [so I may talk about that in my next post!]Also, I loved Ajji's little talk of bringing Raghu&Antara together in the last scene of today's episode, the way she said they'll be 'Do Dil yet ek Jaan' - that was brilliant! And you know what? That is so true, because even if they were not one 'Jaan' yet and even if their hearts (ie their love) aren't together - they share the same pain.
See even if they don't speak to each other (about what is truly going on in their life and have to find from others ie, Raghu's story from Machmach and Antara's story from Mami), it's their pain that binds them together. Their stories are similar, hence their pain and heart ache is similar, which makes it justified for why Raghu wants to help Antara's mum and why Antara was in that state of shock when she found out Raghu's story. It's true what they said, you never really understand what a person is feeling unless you go through the same thing. And yet even in this episode (and gifs above!), it's Antara who got hurt, yet its Raghu who got frustrated with whatever caused her to get hurt in the first place. Yes, their bickering got in the way, but that's besides the point - if Raghu can get frustrated with the tool that hurt her, who knows what he'll be like when he has to choose between her and Dayi Mai? For you to fall in love with someone, you have to see them at their worst part, only then you'll be able to accept them with their faults and see their purity.
One thing I'd like to mention is the reference to faith throughout the episodes. Both Raghu and Antara show their faith and trust in god (which Antara being more open), and this is what will help them in the future. Like Ajji said to herself 'bappa gave her a heart attack to bring Raghu and Antara together' same way, these forces will always force them together despite what they want. And when faith is involved, it's no longer the game between two people, but the bigger game of destiny which is slowly binding their paths. Whenever Antara is scared or worried, she always prays, (like with the previous episode of her speaking to the stars and the morning of the interview) - even if she doesn't openly express her inner problems. And yet both times, it's Raghu who manages to help her; like how he unknowingly switches the fan on, reigniting her belief in herself the night before and when he stood in her way in his car. However, like both times - the 'hope' [if you can call it that?] is stopped short - as if reality has crept him. Like before, Antara sees Raghu and realises that it's him who sent the wind, and the other time, it's [somewhat] because of Raghu that she's slightly late to the interview. Like I said before, it's going to be a test of faith for these two, because even if they do fall in love - other forces will bring them kicking to reality - (dayi mai???)
Special mention
I absolutely love Ajji and her interactions with Rasika! it's hilarious and light hearty which is definetely what this show needs at the moment! Also the way Ajji copies Rasika's 'more or less' is absolutely hilarious!
Also, god MachMach was absolutely superb in the previous episode(s)! And whilst I have no idea where Battery went [I actually don't mind because machmach in my opinion, is a much stronger character than Battery!] - I thought his characterisation was just brilliant! You can tell he gets slightly annoyed with Antara because his loyalities lies with Raghu, yet he still does what is expected of him yet doing it in a way that doesn't hurt Raghu [the way he twisted a lie to get Antara into the house!] - but my fav. scene was when he finally told Antara the truth about Raghu's childhood! The actor playing him was good and Machmach, like a brother did what he can to protect Raghu. That, by far was my fav scene of this week!
Anyway, that's my two cents for this week... PS I do not own any of the works - they were created by our lovely forum creators! =D
