Having seen all of Shirish Kunder's film (there were only 3!), I have come to the conclusion that Shirish makes films for kids. As adults or teens, his movies look stupid and ridiculous, but it does appeal to kids. The only problem is his movies are wayyy overhyped..which is why people are disappointed with it..
I did like Jaanemaan, though I blame the failure on Anupam Kher acting as a dwarf in the film (really stupid). I liked bits and pieces of Tees Maar Khan, but only after watching several times..See my little sister and her friends love the film..Joker is like a kiddy movie, donno why they didn't advertise it as such..kids love these kinds of things...
Maybe Shirish does have this child thing in him and since he also has kids, it's clear that he's not into making the kind of movies that Anurag Kashyap does. what do you guys think?
It's really hard for a man to have a wife, who's so successful. In fact, Shirish knows that he's a looser.. He said so himself in the RWSG interview...
