Is Maham Badi Ammi or Ammi Jaan?

Yesterday, and the day before, I caught Jalal referring to Maham, when talking to her, as Ammi Jaan.
Is this a blooper ... or is it highly interchangeable the way he calls Maham or his own mother Hamida Banu?
I thought Maham was Badi Ammi ... and Hamida was Ammi Jaan ...
I know its a trivial point, but I hope in the rush towards the Jodha-Jalal shaadi the research, quality control and care for detail in this serial is not going for a toss!

Yes, Mansi, I had also commented on this in my last post, Treading Water. He now seems to call her Ammijaan all the time.

The real Ammijaan is as afflicted by foot in the mouth disease as ever. She tells Jalal, who is obviously greatly concerned about his sister's grief, that waqt ke saath zakhm bhar jayega and so he should not fret. No wonder he does not even look at her as he listens to Mahaam Anga's counterview.

I liked the sombre, faraway look on Jalal's face at that point. He was obviously turning the matter over in his mind and searching for the best choice for Bakhsi Banu's new shauhar.

Incidentally, there seems to be a new found concern for real time in Jodha Akbar, what with 2 more months of mourning - from 6 to 8 - having passed for Bakshi Banu, and Jalal not apparating into Sarangpur like Suryabhan did into Amer, but actually taking 16 days to get there on horseback. Amazing!😉

😆 Everytime Ammi Jaan speaks, everyone including Jalal tunes out. Her advice is just heights. And did you notice the funny scene today where Bharmal says BAS! and covers his ears to drown out his alter ego, and then suddenly turns back and asks - tumhe aur kya kehna hai? That scene was just 🤣 That man is a cartoon!!

Dialogues milke bhi kya ukhad leti 😆 She is the most comical character, she and Bharmal. Bharmal acts like a cartoon. And she acts like a dimwit jiski baat koi nahi sunta 😆

god,he seriously is a cartoon!

The way he held his head and said BAS,I was reminded of those 70's heroines, who would scream "nahiii" when the villain would pounce on them to rape 🤣
