Chapter 7

The moon light filled each corner of the palace , the night was cool and the kingdom rejoiced in happiness. The marigolds hung from the palace walls and the dia and candles lighted each corner of the palace , as she sat ideal on the king size bed which was decorated with flowers and the fagrance of rose and lilies was widely in the room . she had been sitting there for a quite long in as she changed into a peacock silk sari with embroidered parrots and lotus flower worked in silver and gold . her body had many glittering jewels , in such an attire she looked like an angle desended from heaven , but an angle whose wings were broken who was left with nothing much but a hope of getting rescued by the love of her life before that devil diminish her body and ruin her soul , at a point she too knew there was no escape and no matter how much she consoled her heart yet her eyes was drenched with tears , god was indeed taking test of her patience as she wondered if avendra would ever accept her after knowing the fact that her body was touched first by uday , felt by uday , finally the long hours were over as at mid night the door was opened as she saw him through the veil , he came inside locking the door behind with every steps her heart skipped beats , as for him, he felt like losing himself in her beauty , she looked so sweet all his anger and frustration was vanished in the thin air , as he saw her sitting there so peacefully and quietly , in an entire new avatar , she never ceise to amaze him with her new avatar the very first time he met her , he had fallen for her not for the lust of her body but for the innocence in her , as on reaching the bed his heart raced for the first time he was conscious about something as he held the veil high above her face , letting the moon light settle down on her face , but what irked him was the fact that she choose to stare blankly down instead of facing him so he gently hold her chin and pulled her face towards him , as his eyes met hers, his eyes were intoxicating piercing into hers not even giving her a chance to escape from the stare his eyes had so much of love , so much passion , and so much of care , but his eyes failed to notice any of those in her eyes , her eyes were filled with fear and pain , he could feel her shook with fright and finally he asked her

UDAY:what is the matter princess ? is there something frightening you?

She had no courage to speak and kept her mouth shut but her eyes spoke a lot through her tears , her tears were the greatest weakness of the king as he held her tight into his arms patting her back softly trying to pacify her as he said all lovingly

UDAY:I can understand princess leaving your parents is all that makes you painful and sad but do not worry I am there your husband and no matter what but I will always be by your side as we took the marriage vow since the time I am your guardian angel

She listen to him as her tears stopped in her eyes , she did not know who to make him understand , she was aware that this very moment he is very soft and loving but the very next moment when he discover about the reason for her fright , that she does not accept him as her husband the anger will explode in him , she could not think of ways to prevent herself but still decided to make an attempt as she looked into his eyes and said

MANYATA: uday do you love me?

He broke the hug and held her by her shoulder as a sweet smile played on his face and he said

UDAY:so this is what my queen is bothered about whether her king loves her or not . princess do not shed those pearls as this heart beats only for you my beloved'

Manyata was taken by his softness and love , she felt herself in a completely different world , his worlds had such deep affect on her , she forgot everything as she was drowned in his brown captivating eyes as he could feel the ease of her heart and he thought of completing their marriage as he forwarded his lips towards hers , his breath fell on her neck as he drew himself closer and closer , but she ignored all as she was not aware of what was happening she was lost in his eyes it was only when his lips mets her she felt a current run down her spine , she did not know how to react to it and the only thing she could do was push him aside and so did she , she pushed him with all her force , as he was taken aback by her behavior , she could see anger building up in her body as she noticed his hands into a fist she needed to clam the poked animal or else he would leave no stones unturned to make her all HIS tonight she cupped his face as she said with faking love

MANYATA;Uday you love me so I accept you to understand me I am sorry for what I wrote last evening actually the truth is I do not love anyone

This singal sentence vanished all his anger as he felt her hands and asked

UDAY:you don't ''.then why did you write so ?

She felt her heart aching she hated lying to him , but situation did not give her an alternative option as she continued stabbing her heart causing it to bleed and blindly listening to her evil brain

MANYATA:The truth is I still do not face the same I mean it is only just three days I met you and so for me my heart still do not understand if it belongs to you or not , i have just started to like you but I am sorry the feeling of love did not come yet , so I was not yet ready for our souls and body to unify , this was what I fear I needed some time

She was cut short as he asked her

UDAY:then why did you not inform that you needed some more time?

MANYATA:I did not want to hurt your pride I know I am at fault as a wife it is my duty to serve you

This was the line that deept she herself understood she realized that there was no way of fighting her faith which was tied to uday , it was time she follow all the promises she took in the marriage it was time she gave herself to him , as her hands reached the end of sari and lowered it , she turned her face away as her eyes had no courage to see the next ,moment but he took the sari and placed it orderly with a smile as he said

UDAY;you must know princess my first priority will always be you , I can understand it and today I do not want to conquer your body but win your heart and so I am ready to wait for the day when you accept my love

Saying this he placed himself on the other edge of bed as he blew the candle off living manyata all in darkness , after a lot finally the smile crept in her face as she confessed to herself

MANYATA:I am sorry avendra but I can no longer think of you , I will too wait for the day when I fall for you uday

Mumbling to herself she slept at the other corner of the edge , as he noticed it and an evil smirk placed on his face , he must appreciate himself for his skills as behind all this there was a dirty game of power being played by Maharaj Uday Veer Pratabh Singh
