Aaj bilkul bhi man nahi kar raha review likhne ka kyunki
Pehle to koi mujhe ye batao Nautanki dance thi theme ya nahi... everyone was doing random stuff...
Nobody did that!!!!!
Nautanki is supposed to tell a story!!!.. the artform is a brilliant beautiful form..its a good mixture of dancing, skit, and message/story/comedy...nautanki is very high on expressions...
Today I am giving my scores upfront here..explanations follow..yesterday I got carried away... i think acche mausam, and Mads special eye makeup had me.. waise to today her white saree cum lehnga was also good..but coming back to the point..
1. DD - theme: 0 , dancing: 2.5, emotions: 2.5 = 4.5/12
- Dancing: Nothing new.. for me only two moments were really nice - a flying twirl and the covering of stage in sitting position by salman... but net net there is no growth..
- 0.5 extra only for DD because a) she was on her own.. b) she did justice to her .. well ahem moves..
- Emotions: Costumes were fab/ makeup bang on... expressions zilch.. when you have this much makeup ( like in kathakali).. its a strength cause even small things come out grand.. and DD was looking out straight..
2. KVB - theme: 2 ( lavani saved him), dance: 1, expressions: 4 = 7/12
3. Kids- theme: 0 , dance: 2, expressions: 2.5 ( only for sumant) = 4.5/12
4. Mukti- theme: 2 ( tandav is used in mythological nautanki's... the good thing is from nautanki perspective you don't require a hardcore authentic tandav), dancing: 2 ( my pet peeve when people don't do justice to indian dances), expressions: 3 ( only and only for the last change in expressions and for maintaining the strength in the act) = 7/12
5.Sid: theme: 0 ( far from it!) , dance: 2 ( i didn't see his full performance so feel free to ignore this one), emotions: lol robotic mein dene kahan hota hai! - 2 = 4/12
6. Shaan: theme: 0, dance: 2.5 ( extremely aesthetic, pleasing.. it was a simpler choreography but very well executed.. .. i actually want to give them 3), emotions: 2.5 = 5/12
7. Sana: theme: 3 ( its a 2 but since kvb for simple lavni gets 2.. these guys were closer), dance: 2.5, emotions: 3 = 8.5 ( this is first sana performance for me)
8. Karan: theme: 1 ( theme was good, execution poor agree with remo), dance: 1 ( my first performance of karan's), emotions: 1 ( kuch samajh nahi aaya) = 3/12
9. lauren: theme: 0, dance: lol.. chodo .. , emotions: lol..chodo..= 8/12
Meri taraf se.. best nautanki performance award.. to the anchors!!!!

- This one was very nice.. there is always sthg very nice about his performances... you ENJOY them.. very very pleasing..
- FYI, try imagining remo watching snake dance.. 😛..
- i have no idea of a real life snake dance.. must be sthg really cool to watch..
3. Sana:
- Nautanki to hai..😆.. ladki hamari..
- Somehow.. jo 'WOW' tushar tha.. wo missing tha..the grandeur was missing..
4. Karan:
- I honestly was excited about the concept. And agree with remo, moves dikhane chahiye the.. wud have been a mindblowing dance..
5. lauren:
- her expressions are so b'ful...
- but nautanki kaha thi..AND
- What was so mind blowing abt this choreography.. Puneet IMO..is an extremely average choreographer..
