Hello all :

I'm not Punjabi or Sikh, so I am a bit confused about some of the relationships on the show (I don't understand some of the terms used to address each other).

Who is the eldest male figure in Parmeet's family (ie. Darji - not sure if I spelled that right)? I initially thought it was his grandfather, but now I'm thinking, maybe it is his eldest uncle? Is his dad even alive?

If someone could explain who all is in Parmeet's family, that'd be great. I know it has not been too clear in the show yet.

i think darji is parmeet's grandfather n his dad is dead. parmeet's dad n d other short guy wid d moustache r his sons.

I just recently started watching Bani again ... I missed out on most of the Parmeet's family scenes.

Can someone please fill me in on what has been revealed so far about Parmeet's family, pretty please? 😳

Parmeet's dad is dead? Has it been revealed when and how he died? Also is that woman (I think Manpreet is her name) who wears the same jewellery and almost the same identical clothes everyday Bani's mother-in-law?

Nothing has been revealed about Parmeet's dad till now

The lady with mostly light colored clothes is Bani's mother in law

Then one middle- aged couple is Parmeet's chacha- chachi, i think.

And the younger couple is Parmeet's elder bro & sis-in- law

Parmeet's bro is turning out to be a creep ... he reminds me of Shyam from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 🤢

& Parmeet's sister-in-law seems so sketchy ... Bani better steer clear of her, I can already imagine her getting Bani into trouble ... she kinda reminds me of Deepali from Madhubala for some reason 😳
