Hello All!! So going forward I'm going to be giving the Written Update on Wednesdays.
Episode starts where it ended yesterday Pankhuri bumping into Avantika with Haldi in her hands. Avantika tells her that she knows Pankhu wants to talk to her, she also has something to say and then she says that going forward she's not going to interfere in Pankhuri and Aditya's life. She tells Pankhuri to take care of Aditya (ummm does that include diapering him too? the way this scene went one thought Avantika was discussing a newborn mewling baby and not a grown up married man)
Pankhuri as usual has a problem and she wonders why Avantika is saying all this. Avantika smiles and says that whatever she's saying, she's happy with her decision and she knows she can trust Pankhuri and then she takes the Haldi from Pankhuri's hands and applies some on her cheeks. Pankhuri decides that she obviously has to go against everything Avantika says and protest 'coz she's the smartest. Pankhuri now wants to go and tell her understanding Mother-In-Law that she's not at all happy with the no-interference policy and she DEFINITELY wants Avantika to continue interfering in their lives (pehli bahu hogi aisi, jise is baat se problem hai ki saas interfere nahi kar rahi)
Next day is the Sangeet/Mehndi ceremony, Nanaji is looking at an old album and Adi comes and tells him that the Sangeet function is about to start so they should get ready. Nanaji shows him the childhood snaps of Avantika, Anuj and Preeti and says that whatever happens do not let your personal goals become more important than your family, see in all these pics I'm nowhere a part of my kids' lives. Then he tries to call Manik and is unable to reach. Anuj asks him if there was any other number on which he connected with Manik Chacha and Nanaji says no - then he says so long as Manik was here i always fought with him and we never had even breakfast together, now my daughter is getting married and I cannot even invite him. (Abhi casting nahi hui hai yaaron, thand rakho)
There in Kullu Govardhan Mama tells his wife to buy a gift for Behna, while she goes to shop for Pankhu, Neha and the wedding gift for Preeti. (Must say I love this couple, rishtey aise hi hote hain). In the meantime Pankhu's mom and Kailash
There Pankhu's mom and Vedika discuss that Preeti is a nice girl and how happy they are that finally she's moving ahead in life.
Sheela is unable to decide which sari to wear, Kaira comes nad helps her out and tells her that she needn't feel complexed about Avantika, because she looks nice in whatever she wears. Adi is waiting for Pankhuri to return from the parlor (precap scene) and teases her for taking so much time, and then he says that she better go and get dressed fast otherwise her one and half hour at parlor will get wasted.
Everyone dressed and gathers together in the hall. Sheela looks very happy and Latika asks her if she has some plan up her sleeve, if so she (Latika) would alsolike to be part of it. Sheela gets irritated and goes away, Rubel comes there and tells Latika that Sheela is happy only because Preeti is getting married and going away and even he's happy that finally they'll be rid of Preeti's caustic tongue.
Everyone wonders where Harish is and he comes in wearing jeans, Avntika starts scolding him and he tells her that if she wastes time scolding him, he'll get even more late, and then he asks Nanaji why he didn't send his daughter to the army. He gets dressed and comes out and again Avantika scolds him for wearing the wrong outfit and goes away. Adi comes and teases Harish that at least your wife is better if she gets angry she scolds and lets off steam, my wife only goes all quiet so I never know what I'm supposed to do. Harish goes what do you mean "My Wife", my wife is your mother and Adi says and you're forgetting my wife is your Bahu. Cute father-son scene. Nanji comes and scolds them both saying instead of complaining about your wives make sure both my girls are never unhappy because of you.
Then Adi goes to call Dadaji in Kullu and Dadaji doesn't mention anything about when they are coming to attend the wedding. Pankhuri decides to call Dadaji later. She sees Adi flirting with some girls and gets irritated, then she sees Avantika alone and goes and asks her about her Non-Interference Protest Party. Avantika tells her that this is the right decision for all of them and instead of getting hyper she should understand that it is not that Avantika will not be there to guide them when they need her but that she would be distancing herself from them so that they can lead their lives in peace. Pankhuri looks panicked - she can't imagine her life without tensions.
There Samir is getting ready for the function and Kulbhushan comes there and offers to help. Samir looks surprised and Kulbhushan says that he knows he has lot of flaws but its not that he is not happy for his son. It's only that he's worried because Preeti comes from a very rich family and she may not be able to adjust in their family and circumstances (he's got a point there). Samir seems to understand but then he says very confidently that he's sure Preeti will adjust well.
Samir's family reaches Dewan mansion and is welcomed by all.
