Chapter 1
Kumud was pacing around the room. She had just heard news that Saras was coming to Ratnagiri to tell her family about the rejection. The only people who knew about the rejection were Ghuniyal, Taani, Swayam and Kusum. She didn't tell anyone else, as she couldn't bear the embarrassment that someone had rejected her without seeing her face. She was deep in thought when Taani came rushing in.
Taani: Kumud di! I am so excited!
Taani saw Kumud's face and calmed down. She went an sat next to her.
Taani: di, what's wrong? Why are you so upset?
Kumud: Taani, I challenged that Saraswatichandra guy to come here and tell my family about the rejection.
Taani: WHAT?
Kumud: and he's coming!
Taani: What? He is! How dare he even think to show his face, after what he did to you?
Kumud: I know, but I can't stop him. He won't change his mind. He's just as stubborn as me. Or even more.
Taani: I don't think that is possible.
Kumud glares at Taani, but smiles.
Kumud: Now what was the good news you wanted to tell me.
Taani: oh yes'I'M GETTING MARRIED!!
Kumud: WHAT??? I am so happy for you!
Taani: I know right! He finally proposed, he could barely even finish speaking before I said yes.
Kumud: so where is Mr. Reyaansh!
Taani: He is right now in Mumbai, meeting some friends that he has to bring here.
Kumud: Aww so I'll have to wait till the engagement day to see your future husband.
Taani: So sad na! Oh well, but now we have some preparations to do.
As TaaMud stood up Taani was attacked by 2 other girls.
Kusum: YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED!
Kumari: AND YOU DIDN'T TELL US!
Taani: I was just coming to tell you guys. But I had to tell Kumud di first!
Kumud: get off her before she dies. We don't want a dead bride, when Rey finally proposed to her.
Kumari: this is amazing. First Mr Saraswatichandra is coming to see Kumud di, then Mr Reyaansh is marrying Taani. Could this week get any better.
At the mention of Saras' name Kumud's face fell. Only Taani noticed this though. Taani decided to move the subject from this and they started to discuss wedding and engagement details.
*MEANWHILE WITH SaRey*
Saras paced around his room. Was he really going to Ratnagiri for a girl he rejected. To tell her family that he didn't want to marry her. He was deep in thought when Rey came in, almost bouncing. He saw Rey smiling huge and gave him a weird look.
Saras: why are you so happy?
Sunny: that's what we've been trying to get him to tell us, but he refuses to. He said he had to tell us in your presence.
Sunny and Danny entered the room behind Rey.
Rey: that is because I have the best news ever.
Saras, Danny, Sunny: WHAT?
Rey: I'm getting married!
Saras, Danny, Sunny: WHAT???
Saras: dude are you serious?
Rey: of course, I finally proposed to Danny!
Sunny, Danny: Congrats man
They all hugged each other, but Saras was still distracted.
Rey: Saras, why are you so distracted? What's up?
Sunny: Didn't you hear? He rejected the relationship from Ratnagiri, but then the girl he rejected challenged him to go to Ratnagiri and tell her family himself.
Danny: and he's going to do it!
Rey: Perfect!
Saras: did you hear anything they just said?
Rey: Yes, and it's perfect because the wedding is taking place in Ratnagiri. They are having it at Taani's cousin's house.
Saras: really! Dude that's great!
Rey: I know. Now you guys pack we have to go to Ratnagiri tomorrow, otherwise my fianc will be super mad.
Sunny: Where is the future Mrs Reyaansh Singhania?
Rey: In Ratnagiri right now!
He rushed them to start packing as they would have to take a train to Ratnagiri.
Precap: The engagement day is here. SaMud see each other. Saras reveals the truth to Kumud's family. Taani, Kusum, Kumari and Swayam comfort Kumud. TaaRey make a plan.
Okay sorry it was so short. But this was just an introduction chapter, and I mainly wanted to show the relations between Taani & Kumud, and Saras & Rey. Next chapter will be longer and will have SaMud and TaaRey scenes. With a little TaaYam and Kumud bonding.
