Hi fellow members,
It appears that Suryakant has finally stood up for Saraswati, and is taking her home, after finding out about her beatings. Hopefully he'll also get hold of Daraben and her useless husband for ratifying Bhavisya's abuse of Saraswati.
Now, I think that as bad a father as he is, he has never physically abused either his wives or daughters. No matter what a father is a father, and if his child is being abused for no reason he will do something. He even stood up to Ba and got new jewellery made for Saraswati when Yuvraj stole them. Could there genuinely be some affection for the girls in Suryakant's heart?
What will be the reaction of the other family members? I think Ba, Menka and the Buas won't be happy at all. Do you think Suryakant will once again be swayed by them and sent Saraswati back to that hell?
What about Saraswati? I think she'll force her parents to let her return to that pathetic husband. Will she be happy to return home, something of a disgrace for her? Will she be able to bear the taunts of the family? Will duty and loyalty force her to retun to Bhavisya?
How will this affect Laxmi? Seeing as Bhavisya and Satyakam are brothers, the relationship between the two families will deteriorate greatly after Suryakant confronts them. I don't see Suryakant ever accepting Satya's relationship with Laxmi.
Bhavisya and his family? What will their defence be for abusing Saraswati? And what is their secret? Who will be the person who digs deeper and discovers it? Personally I think he beat a woman to death and they paid the authorities to keep it quiet. Could be that Satyakam knows about it...
On another issue - there have been lots of posts about people hating the show. These have been left open because members are entitled to their opinions, but they are some members (myself included) who watch the show because it shows a painful reality of society we are not normally exposed to. As unpleasant as it may be to watch sometimes, it is only a TV show, and the message is what should be taken seriously.
Looking forward to your responses.
