Jeevika was standing in front of Viren in the line. She handed off her passport and boarding pass and was let in. The courteous thing to do would be to wait for her husband, but she could care less at the moment. She just walked straight ahead and got onto the plane while Viren was still in line. She put her handbag on top but with a little difficulty as the compartment space above was very little. She shoved and moved it around getting her anger on Viren out on those poor bags. Finally it fit and she sat down near the window. She knew it wasn't possible, but just wished she could kick Viren out of the seat next to her if he came. Viren eventually did come and saw his angry wife staring out the window. He put his handbag away first and then sat down next to her. She moved even more to the side even though they had plenty of distance between them.
j - "Achewww" she sneezed
Viren quickly got a tissue out from his pocket and handed it to her. Jeevika just covered her nose and walked to the bathroom ignoring Viren.
v - "Viren you're dead" he said to himself
Jeevika came back with a red nose and tried to sit in her seat, but Mr. Vadhera on the other hand had some different intentions. He put his leg forward making Jeevika trip and fall into his lap. The things he had to do to makeup to his wife.
v - "Babes I know you want to be close to me, but we need to sit on our separate seats for take off. Later on you can sit here" 😆
Jeevika got up, stepped on his foot hurting him and then sat back down on her seat.
v - "Ouchhh. That hurt Jeevs"
j - "Good for you Viren Singh Vadhera"
She took the full name! Full name meant real anger. Jeevika took out her earphone from her purse and plugged them into her phone. She closed her eyes and listened to her music while her husband just sat next to her thinking of ways to talk to her. Sometime honesty was not always the best policy! The flight took off and the awkwardness still remained. The two of them needed time alone, which they finally had but this awkward silence was doing no good to their relationship. Viren wasn't able to sleep at all, nor was he in the mood to do anything. Getting restless, and wanting to just reach India already he attempted to make peace with his wife, wanting to start their trip off with a bang!
v - "Jeevika, you awake?"
j - "What do you want Viren?" she said with her eyes closed
v - "I want to kiss you under the blanket"
j - "You really think you're going to get a kiss from me now?" she said staring at him with her big grey eyes
v - "Why not?" he said sounding surprised 😆
j - "Viren do you have something important to say or will you let me sleep peacefully?"
v - "Jeevs how can you sleep?"
j - "What do you mean by how can I sleep? Do you want me to show you how to sleep? Been sleeping next to you for three months now.." "unfortunately" she said now looking down and slowly
v - "Excuse me?!?! You know we slept together before we were married too" 🤣
j - "Viren seriously I don't know why I wanted to bring you to India with me"
v - "Because you love me babes. Are you ashamed that you slept with me before we got married" he said trying to irritate her 🤣
j - "Now for the last time will you tell me what you need"
v - "I need a kiss. You know I can't sleep without that special kiss"
j - "Then keep staying awake and plan out your life please! And maybe if you have sometime for me also put me on your schedule somewhere and do inform me when in our life oh I MEAN YOUR your priority will be me" she said angrily.
v - "Jeevs come on love" he said trying to hold her hand
j - "Viren please just don't" she said tearing up now and moving away from him.
v - "Okay okay. Can you just not cry please?"
j - "Why am I embarrassing you by crying?"
v - "Jeevs its not that love"
j - "Then what is it? You don't love me, you prioritize me last on your list. You forget that we're still newlyweds, but we don't have the space we want because of your family. The least you can do is give me the respect I deserve being your wife. Just because I go with the flow and do whatever your family needs me to do, doesn't mean I'm ready or prepared to. I do it because of you. Because I love you the most in this world. Am I telling you to take care or handle my family? Am I telling you to support my family and me financially? No Viren, I'm just asking you to give me my place in your life. I'm your wife for goodness sake"
v - "Jeevika you took me too seriously"
j - "Too seriously? Viren tell me one thing. How many dates have we gone on after we got married"
v - "Uhmm" he said trying to think exactly how many times they did go out
j - " Two times. Once on my birthday and once for my best friends engagement party. What does that tell you. Now I think you can think about that while trying to sleep" she said pushing her seat back and laying down going to sleep.
v - "Viren you're such an idiot" he said taunting himself.
j - "Yes you are" she said in her sleeping posture still looking away!
