Mohit and the Ramayan: the Antariksh connection!

Ok, so we've had the Mohit Raina-Tarun Khanna connection (https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/devon-ke-dev-mahadev/3627250/the-bhabhi-connection) and the Mohit-Raavan connection (https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/devon-ke-dev-mahadev/3661852/raavan-and-mohit-the-chehra-connection). Now here is another one: the Mohit-Ramayan connection! (I know lots of actors have acted in versions of the Ramayan, but this connection is pretty unique! I'm sure this is known already but no one wrote about it here, so I thought I would seeing as DKDM is going through the Ramayan phase!) ⭐️

One of Mohit's early shows was the 2006 Star Plus sci-fi series Antariksh - Ek Amar Katha, which was actually based on the Ramayan!

I haven't seen the show myself (just seen a few clips online) but I have heard a bit about it. Set in a futuristic setting, it is apparently the story of a king who had three wives, and their sons. The eldest son was supposed to become king next but that didn't happen because of one of the queens, so then he and another brother went off into space and the show chronicles their adventures as they meet new people and fight a villain named Rangkal.

Sound familiar? 😉 Mohit's character Vikrant was apparently the Antariksh equivalent of Lakshman.

Apprently Arun Govil, who played the role of Shri Ram in Ramanand Sagar's original Ramayan TV series, was also a part of this show. (If you have seen the show then please correct me if that is not right!)
