didnt Billo Rani say she got a divorce with her husband, though? Her being married can't be a reason for the nikkah to not happen since she's not married anymore

Looks like the writers forgot that they mentioned that billi is married , They are treating the viewers as jerk too .

May be Zoya will find about her abbu and go to Ayyan house , I think billi will tell the truth and take a promise form zoya to move out of asad life for good .
