" sanka devi..why were you shouting?? Open the door..

Arnav: dammit..

Khushi took the advantage of Arnav's distraction..

Khushi almost flung out of bed..pushed Arnav in bed..put the quilt on him and opened the door.

Buaji: why were you shouting??

Khushi: no buaji..whe..when did I shout??

Buaji: you didn't??

Khushi: no.no..

Buaji: but I heard your voice..

Khushi: no buaji..I only heard your voice and woke up..

Buaji: ohh..let me see Payal..

And she entered the room..

Khushi panicked.

Khushi: buaji..leave her..she is sleeping..you don't need to worry..

Buaji: but..

Khushi: no..no..all is fine..buaji I am very sleepy..

Buaji: ok..I am going..but if you have any problem tell me dear.

Khushi: yes..yes..good night.

She literally pushed her out of the room and slammed the door hard..

Khushi though was trembling in fear with the thought of being deliberately locked in the room with an unknown man but she tried to hide her fear and stay strong.

Arnav was still under the blanket..he was taken aback.

Arnav's POV

This is the girl whom Payal thinks as burden!

Strange!

The girl actually saved me.

Nothing would have happened to her..

may be her aunt would think bad initially..

but as soon as Payal would not be found..her aunt would have believed this girl..and I know what would have been my and Akash's condition..and better not to think about Payal.

Arnav's thoughts were disrupted soon..

Khushi had pulled out the blanket..

Arnav understood the gesture and sat straight and got out of bed..

But he didn't understand why the girl was looking at him strangely..

Not strange..but with some writhing pain..

What had suddenly happened to her??

Arnav was shocked when he saw her was falling..

Arnav hold her immediately..

She had fainted and was in his arms now..

He laid her down on the bed.

He felt his hand wet..

..BLOOD..

He couldn't understand where from the blood came..

He looked around..

there were drops of blood on the floor..

he roamed around the room to find out..

The bedside he noticed..the broken vase was lying on the floor..and the glass pieces were scattered and few of the glass pieces had got colored red with blood..

He ran towards the girl..

She was lying stiff..

Her feet was smeared with blood and glass pieces were stuck..

Arnav was getting shocks and surprises one after another..

He was in deep conflict within.

Though Khushi had gained consciousness but she didn't let know.

He was about to look for the first aid box when he felt that she was looking at him. He turned back. No, she was still unconscious.

She tried to look what was happening and slowly she opened her eyes only to find that her THIEF was sitting near her feet and was taking out glass pieces. The pain was horrible and she tried unflinching but she couldn't.

Arnav immediately stopped and looked at her.

May be he was wrong..she remained still like before.

He started massaging her feet slowly while putting the ointment..

Khushi's POV

Devi Maiyya saved me today. I think there is something wrong or misunderstanding. It can't be that jiji has told him to stay. May be he is also tricked like jiji had tricked me. But why is she doing?? Where had she gone so late night?

Is he really bad or is jiji bad? Why is he nursing me? Who am I to him? Why does it matter so much? Why?

And her dhak..dhak.. started again with his soft sensous touch..the way he was massaging was making her weak..

She clutched her dress tightly to avoid any change of expression in her face.

He bent towards Khushi's face to check her again when the back door screeched.

He looked back and saw Payal entering.

Payal whispered " I hope Khushi had not done much trouble."

Arnav was lost in thoughts.

Arnav's POV

KHUSHI !! KHUSHI !! she is really joy..really happiness..I want her..I need her..she will be my joy. I will get her.

Payal: Bhai..Bhai..

Arnav came back to reality shaking off his thoughts.

Payal winked and then continued, " hmm..it seems that you really had a good time..keep going.."

Arnav: no. Payal enough. Better stay in limit or tomorrow you will get your resignation.

Payal was fuming !!!

He grabbed his keys and rushed out.

Payal's POV

ASR talking so rudely !! and that too for a behenji!! Never had any idea that this Khushi will cast her spell so well.. hmm.. bloody *****.. I used to think her to be innocent..I thought she would have cried or something..and here ASR is so much in her now.that he is now sitting as a servant and treating her "cut" !!

Never thought this behenji would be so wicked!!

Wait KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA !!!

You will taste revenge from me now..

I thought leaving you with ASR would be a good lesson..but seems that you had enjoyed it thoroughly..I should plan something else for you..then you will pack your bags and leave for LUCKNOW..and let me live in peace forever!! Just wait and Watch..you *****

She was so busy with her thoughts of revenge and hate she didn't notice that Khushi was hurt inside out by and for her.

And there lying on bed Khushi still feigned to avoid Payal and her hateful remarks and abominable expressions and vile comments.

Khushi's POV

I had already taken my decision. I can't retreat. I have come here to study and work and get established. Let her do whatever she wants. It's her life. I will not interfere. Let her live or die as she wants. From now on I will not enquire or answer her. From now on you will no more be my dear 'jiji'. You will be just my roommate and nothing else. Nothing you will be.

I had no idea ever until I experienced today. You proved that woman is the worst enemy of woman. But that doesn't mean I will stoop low. Why won't I be virtuous if you are wicked?
