Week 8^th - 11^th July

Monday: Repeat of Baahon Mein Chale Aao ... Manav and Chhanchhan have their romantic honeymoon on the terrace and Umaben's plan bites the dust.

Next morning, Chhanchhan is all blushes and smiles in the kitchen ... Kaumudi and Manthan see Manav sleeping on the terrace. Manthan teases Manav ... Kaumudi tells the other bahus and teases Chhanchhan ... Ranjana fumes some more.😛

Back in their bedroom, Manav is all teasing and flirty Chhanchhan is playful ... and Umaben is shocked at the sight ... she thought she had engineered a rift ... what happened here?! 😲 😆

Chhanchhan makes a light and healthy breakfast for the family. Babuji is impressed but refuses to try it, so do all the rest. Umaben gloats and subtly insults Chhanchhan by offering the poha to Jigu. Manav speaks up and eats it. Finally we have a husband who speaks up for his wife! 👏

Umaben finds out about the terrace honeymoon from Manthan.

Tuesday: Chhanchhan gets a call from home, PuchPuch is sick. She convinces a doubtful Manav to ask Mummyji's permission to bring PuchPuch home.

Umaben tries her best to refuse, while keeping her sweet faade intact ... when Manav refuses for Chhanchhan to go to her maayka to look after PuchPuch and adds his pleas, she is defeated.

Besides, Umaben remembers how much chaos PuchPuch created in five minutes of grihapravesh ' this might work in her favour after all. So she gives in. Chhanchhan is ecstatic ' much to Umaben's disgust! 😆

Manav and Chhanchhan pick up PuchPuch from her maayka. Umaben refuses permission for Puchpuch to stay inside the house, and banishes him to the verandah. A dejected Chhanchhan agrees, and Manav earns her grateful thanks when he brings a doghouse for PuchPuch. Mansi and the children love PuchPuch. 😳

Sanjana earns Umaben's frustrated wrath when she cooks desi ghee ka sheera for PuchPuch, after all he is an honoured guest in the house! 😆

Babuji does not like dogs at all. 😕

Wednesday: Umaben tries to deepen Babuji's doubts about allowing PuchPuch to stay in the house, by talking about strange smells, non-veg food and potty habits. Babuji and the brothers are not very happy about the dog at all.

Manav and Chhanchhan have a small tiff about PuchPuch ... Manav is in romantic mood, and Chhanchhan is worried about PuchPuch. She manages to coax him out of his sulks.

Umaben is woken up by PuchPuch whining ' for some reason she thinks that drenching him with water will shut him up. 😲 Chhanchhan reaches just in time to stop her. Umaben covers up quickly ... she just wanted to cool the place for the dog. Chhanchhan is not quite convinced.

Next morning, Babuji breaks the news of the arrival of Dreaded Dadaji, who apparently believes he is an army general and school headmaster rolled into one. The whole family shivers ... Chhanchhan is curious, is Dadaji really so strict? Manav confirms it.

Chhanchhan expresses her doubts about Umaben's love for PuchPuch to Manav ' he asks Umaben and she convinces him she loves PuchPuch, but Chhanchhan does not love her, if she can doubt her pure intentions. Manav swallows his mom's words ' pity, I thought he was smarter than that. 😕

Umaben orders gold kangans for her chosen bahu and speaks to her on the phone. New entry Number One.

Thursday: Manav and Chhanchhan have their next small tiff over PuchPuch ' Manav tells her his mom really does love Chhanchhan, she needs to stop feeling she is the only one worried about PuchPuch. Again Chhanchhan coaxes Manav out of his sulks. That leaves Umaben free to get rid of PuchPuch.

Next morning, the house is busy getting ready for Dadaji's arrival and PuchPuch is found missing. Umaben dispatches CC, Manav and Mansi to hunt for the dog.

Dadaji arrives ' new entry Number Two. He enters the house just as Chhanchhan runs down the stairs, bumps into him, knocks his precious kalash out of his hands, saves it just in time, ducks at his feet for a brief 'payee lagoo' and disappears again calling for PuchPuch ' before Dadaji can say a word. 😲😆

Dadaji is not amused. 😕

The family lines up and pays respect to Dadiji, whose mortal remains are housed in the kalash. Dadaji meets the family, and it seems he is a shrewd judge of character. Between Umaben and Manthan, he gets a picture of Chhanchhan, which is not favourable at all. Manav does try to speak up for Chhanchhan, but without much success. Dadaji sets a time limit for Chhanchhan to return home, or else ' 😲

Dear Makers, first of all a very disappointing SR where all the viewers were expecting some more intimate lovy dovy scenes. It was also not shown as per the precap. Ramanchi ji. You got us all waiting and we waited for nothing.

Rest of the week it was absolutely balanced. Good to see puchpuch back. Only thing I would like to mention is showing animal abuse is a kind of crime and is not taken well by animal lovers. I know it is just a show, but still what you are showing has a direct impact for all the viewers, especially kids. You never know what they might learn and imitate from the serial. I would ask you to balance that scene out where it was shown that Uma Ben let out Puchpuch. I would really appreciate if you plan for a small redemption kind of a track for her, which will send a positive message to all the viewers.

Good to see the fun element back in the show. We understand ChhanChhan is not a romatic show but a saas bahu drama, so we cannot expect chhanman all the time. So there has to be some interesting stuffs going around and comedy is the key at the moment to make it look different from other shows.

Now the story has taken a different turn with the introduction of dadaji, I am sure there are lots of drama planned. But please not defocus our dear ChhanMan. We need daily dose of them atleast once in 20 mins.
