Fabulous post, cardio. I always love ur posts. đ
RK has never been concerned for his own image. He gave two hoots about who said what about him. It was always his papa and recently his ma, whose reputation he wanted to safeguard. CVs, intentionally or unintentionally, have nicely portrayed RK and Radhaji's evolving relationship. Both are innately flawed beings and yet it is their familial bond that appeals to us more than the OTT glorified relationship of Meera and GHG.
Have you noticed the scenes, where diamond-studded Platinum-Coated Bhai takes care of Radhaji, his expression is like I-dont-know-what-i-am-doing-but-i-dont-know-what-else-I-should-do đ. And I dont really get why everyone keeps harping on about his Shravan Kumar status bcuz he took care of Radhaji. He went there uninvited, knowing full well how his presence had affected Radhaji the last time. Forget about manners, he doesn't even have the decency to ask Radhaji, the eldest in the house, permission to search the house for his coveted Kangan đĄ. There was nothing too kindly about his caring for Radhaji. If a person falls sick infront of us, i dont believe helping that person is called kindness. That is simple humanity at work, and not something to be glorified. Acting as any human being would under those circumstances, does not deserve any special praise or accolade. It was his duty as a human to help another. If he had not helped, then there would have cause for much hue and cry.
Kindness is not the same as humanity. You are kind, when you go and do something beyond what any imperfect human would do and rise above your own selfishness.
That is why I applaud RK who clearly portrays his concern for his mother and father well before his own name and reputation. đ
