bajaj is in bed thinking about what he learned about prerna's memory lapse. kuki enters the room and brings him some food and a newspaper.she tries to tell him about the accident, how anurag caused the accident, and how mahesh made a case over the attacks on Bajaj. She tells him how Sneha lied to the court saying that she was with anurag during the accident, and the court ruled in favor of anurag. bajaj tells her that sneha did not do a mistake, and she only did it out of her love for him and knowing how valuable prerna is to Bajaj. Shena over hears them and starts crying, but vanishes when Kuki leaves the room. Sneha comes in quietly and goes for the medicine. Bajaj grabs her and hugs her.

at basu house, kasak is roaming around when tanishaa and komolika approach her. komolika says that this is basu house and not an orphanage. tanisha says now that Bajaj is out of coma, she should go back to her house.kasak tells tanisha that she is there for a purpose, and not for shravan. she tells tanisha that the only reason tanisha is scared is because she herself knows that kasak is capable of anything. prerna over hears this and starts yelling at kasak. bajaj enters and starts talking. he asks anurag that if it was him who brought kasak to his house to help her out, then why is her existance not so important. prerna and bajaj quarell over kasak's upbringing. bajaj tells kasak to get her things.

bajaj and kasak enter their house and sneha sees that bajaj is home. he tells sneha to take kasak. bajaj in deep thought starts crying and falls on the couch. sneha and kasak relieve him by saying that prerna will be better and will come back.

bajaj is standing near his bed and mahesh is talking to him about why he put a case on anurag. bajaj only imagines the fight with prerna. and he looks at the family portrait.

Prerna is in her room, and tanisha walks by to thank her for sticking up for her. She says she did it for the sake of truth. Prerna sees an envelope on the bed and opens it. it is a picture of the bajaj family portrait. anurag walks in and notices it. he asks what it is. prerna asks him why she is in a pic with bajaj. anu tells her that they are very close family friends, and were that way until the accident. it is because of a misunderstanding that bajaj and anu fought today. anu notices a letter in the envelope which prerna starts to read. the letter clearly says "Prerna, tum shayad kuch baatein bhul gayi ho. jinhe tumhen yaad dilana mera faarz hai.Kisike pyar leker tum naya jahaan basauge.yeh shaam jab bhi aye gi,tum mujhko yaad aoge.(Close up on ANurags eyes)
