Sorry, but Sumitra really took dumbness to a new level today. Her conversation with Anandi today was ridiculous. She lacked tact and consideration for the girl she professes to care about so much. How could she talk to Anandi about Her wishes for Jagya's future wife? Didn't she realize that she was also implying that Anandi lacked all those qualities. And the magnanimity she is showing towards Saanchi (Shehar ki Ladki) where was that when it came to Gauri. Her mindset and principles just do not gel. She has become so obtuse that she doesn't even realize that she is hurting the one person she cared for more than her own son.
As for Bhairon, the less said, the better. His silence does not qualify him as the 'still sane' member of the family. Why can't he see his son's or even his daughter Anandi's discomfort? Where is his common sense? When Jagya appeared before them in that ridiculous jacket, all he could do was flash his pearly whites. Why can't the Cv's show some indication of intuition in Bhairon or Dadisa?
