I am lazy to put all those fandangles thingy today. So I'll post normal😆 😃

I will use this topic as DOTW because I am puzzled about it.😕

At the beginning of PSH, Sugni was portayed as an 18 yrs old girl that was determined to change the destiny of herself and other girls. Sugni maintained that she was not ready and will never be ready to become a Bedni. She always imagined her wedding to her Prince/Raja, where as bednis are not allowed to marry,hence her other way of breaking away from the tradition there. She was full of life and courage and determination towards her dreams/Sapna.

Her Prince arrived in train and she was the lucky one to receive him😳 At the beginning of their love story SUGVI, Vickram was everything she dreamt of. Her Prince, that would stand by her side and encourage her to follow her dreams, lending her a shoulder to rest on. This would have been the perfect chance to let Sugni's Subah come true. This was the perfect moment for the cvs to show Sugni breaking the tradition of being a bedni, hence being an inspiration to not only these women but also every girl, who has dreams faces challenges to follow them.

The Cvs instead took a different path away from the actual story. They made Vickram a bad guy. They introduced Aditya as the new knight in shining armour, a man who always hated bednis. What a blunder Sugni performing her sardhakai, dancing for thakurs, marrying a man that hated and never understood bednis.

This leaves me with three questions...

1. Where is the Subah of Sugni, that she dream of from the start?

2. Was that the actual Subah they wanted to show, or ?

2.. What are the cvs tryng to teach young girls, that it is easier to give up their dreams?

Sugni did indeed start of as a girl with simple dreams about what her life will be like... to live a respectable life. And we all waited to see how the CV's would make that happen. What we all got to see is nothing at all of the sort except for Sugni getting married multiple times in a rush...😕😕...
OHHH I missed that Sugni with Spunk who deared speak to the Thakurs about wrong an d right, who was willing to over turn a boat to save her friend, who pulled a grass knief to villagers while asking them where was the humanity if they can't allow a pregnat woman water!!! the girl willing to move to the next village so HER MOTHER would not become another thakur's Bedni and yes that girl who would throw her ring on the man of her dreams face so that she would not ruin a marriage.
Sugni was right to walk away from her wedding...she should have kept walking to the other village... IMO ...
What the CV's did from that point on was a total disaster. It is and always be a mystery to us what really they wanted to achieve..as what they set off to do they did not...in the race for higher TRP's they decided to twist turn and lay with both set of audiences... too many cooks spoil the pot , in this case I think two many nonsensical turns ruined the show...and in the end they did what the majority of audience demanded anyway in a very sloppy rushed fashioned of course... *Sigh*...

I agree the end was set for what we want😃👏 But I don't think that was the way they wanted to end it I feel that ZEE Tv intervened and hence the change in storyline and abrupt ending. I didn't believe ZEE had so much authority, but is convinced after the end of PV and BRKD.

Wow Simi, you have asked the questions that i guess everyone else would like to know the answers for and i think only the CVs are entitled to answer these questions as they are the ones who ended up ruining what could have been a hit show.

In response to your first question, where is the subah of Sugni which she dreamt of from the start of the show, it was dead the minute she decided to do her sadarkhi. I know what Vikram did was wrong, indeed he should have never hidden the truth about his wife from her but she didn't have to react that way... as Vinnie rightly said , she could have moved to another village...try to start her life afresh...of course it wouldn't have been an easy task given her depth of love for Vikram but forgetting your principles and beliefs, your desire to live a better life, was not the best way out either.As you said Simi, at the beginning of the show Sugni was portrayed as a vibrant and strong willed person who was determined not to follow the practices of the bednis so the fact that the CVs destroyed that Sugni we knew is still quite hard to digest.. if their initial aim was to change the mentalities of the bednis and thakurs, showing the journey of these women in creating a respectable life for themselves with Sugni of course being the driving force for that change ...then why would you end showing the person who was like a ray of hope performing her sadarkhi?...

Somehow the Cvs strayed away from their initial intention and as Vinnie rightly said, the reasons being,wanting to incorporate many things at the same time and hunger for higher TRPs. Anyone who could not read between the lines would think that yes, they are teaching young girls to give up on their dreams when all hope is lost.

In my opinion, Sugni and Vikram alone would have made a huge impact... the way they were portrayed as individuals at the beginning of the show, their love for each other would have indeed proved the subah in phir subah hogi ...what was the need to bring back Reva or what was the need to make Adi look all high and mighty?...Now that PSH has ended, the only conclusion i could draw from having watched this show is that true love always wins in the end... it is sad that we did not get to see the subah in phir subah hogi being fully realized.

the topic is nice but to be honest what was that subah ?? what the cv wanted to show ? was it - marrying a young thakur ?? or ruining his engagemnt ? or not allowing a man to divorce his cruel wife ? or what ?

in their way of story .. unknowingly they made sugni look cheap and turned the story from her subah to his subah .. they wanted me to wait for her subah but on the way some where i could not bear his pain

from his side - a thakur wanted to start afresh after having a bad marriage . meets a girl .. fall in love.. finds out his wife alive..wants to tell but cant... she say she will die if... he decide to marry and there he lost his love... trying to fix it and get her back... seeing her getting closer to his nephew...feeling cheating and buying his wife lies... try to punish her and him.. knowing the truth..accepting his mistakes ... losing her...leaving every thing..finding her in banaras... helping her saving her and bringing her back home... trying to help her go back to her husband ... in the end win his love !!!

that was the subah for me .. !!!

how did they turn sugni into cheap lady--

in this story - 1st day - sugni say she wants to marry a young thakur rich thakur...

she fall in love with vikram ... found his hiden truth .. leaving him...selling her self - wait wait wait ... selling her self but she did not want to be 2nd wife rite but to be a mistres was ok ???? ruining the love life of amrita who was a friend was ok ??? ahem ahem some one mistaked... ok.. selling her self - being with him not allowing him to marry her but trying to fulfill her duties as behdni - all this she does to punish vikram - ok .. one day realize vikram's truth accepting it .. wanting him back... and when he doubt her - rush and marry adi - flirt with him in front of vikram showing and saying - see my husband ... ext ext... then dying .. i guess here sugni died !!!!!

chulbuli came in - she was a new hope in the show but still i was waiting for vikram's subah !!!

vikram getting his love back into his life was the subah for me in phir subah hogi !!! i wanted to see his smile his happy face and in the end i got it !!!

Phir subah hogi was not a behdni story it was a thakur story

some one... was sleeping in his duty .. 😆

sugni got her subah by doing what no behdni would do or dare to do

which behdni would do such a thing ???

Great topic.

We all know that the storyline was supposed to be about Aditya saving Sugni from Vikram. What the CVs didn't expect was the explosive chemistry that SugVi had onscreen both as a couple and individuals. Maybe because of viewers reactions they went ahead and explored the love story with SugVi.

I guess some idiot decided to step in and say "Wait, that is not what we had originally planned"

So they decided to try to change the story back to original concept.

In doing so, they ended up disgracing Sugni. They made her into a bedni with no valid excuses.

Up to the point where she walked off on the wedding day was fine.

But her announcing her own sardakai was their first blunder. Her letting Aditya do her sardakai and marry her was their second and third blunders and the story just went downhill from there.

They should not have introduced Amrita's character in the first place.

Sugni working on her own without accepting sardakai and succeeding would have been a subah of sorts. Too bad the CVs messed up a fantastic story with a brilliant cast.

i guess if they would make the story the way u did ... mean vikram saving sugni and being her owner or .. even sugni being forced to do the sirdakaii after returning home it would have been much better

mean she left vikram and then coming home her uncles force her to be sold .. she fights but failed and vikram buy her ... from there it would be much better but not this way SUGNI SELLING HER SELF... come on who is gone mad what girl will sell her self just because some one broke her heart ???
