Here goes the story of Sarawatichandra and Kumud Desai.
The proposal was sent from Dubai to Gujarat,
By only seeing his eyes, she lost all her sleep at night.
Her heart gave consent
But she received a letter of reject.
How she wondered could he reject her without seeing or meeting her.
Her reply was sent back to him to give his answer to the entire family.
Leaving everything behind, he flew off,
However breaking the rishta was put off,
Instead he was welcomed with phoolon
As the future son in law.
Though he did not know her face her tinkling payals
Conveyed to him her presence.
Dusshera came and his wish was fulfilled
Since a glimpse of her was all he initially wanted.
Flying kites with each other,
They did not realise their hearts fluttered together.
In every story there is a Ravaan,
Here we have Ghuman
The wife of Laxminandan
And the step mom of Saras.
From Dubai she flew,
To create trouble for the two,
She came as a bad omen,
And the family found out that the rishta was broken.
Hurt and sorrows filled the the house
Since history had repeated itself.
The father daughter relationship grew stronger,
And thanks to Kumud, a father son relation started to blossom.
While trying to fulfil his mother's dream,
To Saras opened a new dream.
Kumud helped him in every way
And she deserved her rights anyway.
Chaar kadam baar was her order,
But obeying it became a disorder,
Because destiny had already brought them together.
They crossed all limits
They shared many cute moments
Of love, caring a jealousy
That the families were forced to fix their sagai.
Ghuman did not get the co-operation from Kumud
So she decided to make Kumari just like her
To take away someone's elses husband
Just like she did years ago.
But karma had it so
That her own son Danny became a hero
And saved Kumari from disrespect and disgrace.
Ghuman insulted Kumud
But Saras gave her a fitting reply that she never dared to say a word
Against the person who held that special place in his heart.
Then came the time for separation
Until the next celebration.
Everyone left except the dulhan's devar
Who stayed to ensure she gets her savar.
Back in Dubai he had no distraction
So he did all his work without any tension.
Karwachauth came and she kept his fast as she thought herself as Mrs.Vyas,
While he was cracking deals,
She looked at the moon and then his picture.
Was his portrait moving or was it her imagination
Saraswatichandra Vyas came to give her their own little celebration.
Chori chori, chupke chupke he broke her fast
And prayed for their relationship to last.
Again he had to leave her
She was hurt, happy and satisfied at the same time
Meanwhile anger was being awaited in the Vyas residence,
Saras missed and important client to meet Kumud
And had to face the wrath of his father.
Instead he was angered when he read a letter written by his mom'or so it claimed
He learned that Ghuman was the cause of his mother's death,
And left the in total anger and regret.
While Kumud weaving the dreams of a bride,
Did not know what is next at her side.
On her hands painted mehindi
And rituals started, so did the haldi.
Excited when her beloved phoned,
She could not bear to hear the words she heard.
He rejected her once again
Without a further thought of whether history is repeating again and again
For his mom was cheated by his dad
And he was responsible for her suicide.
Sensible enough Kumud did not give that a thought
But burned everything that memories brought.
A father's promise to was made
To get his daughter married on that very day.
Saras late but atlast realizing his mistake
Flew to India for forgiveness once again.
She cried one last time for him,
And decided to do her duties as a daughter.
Dressed up as bride,
But crying inside,
Taking vows
But only feeling sorrows.
She said yes
But her eyes said something else.
Saras is already in India,
When he learns of her new rishta,
Shocked but still with hope,
He is on his way to the Desai home.
