Sikki's character change?

When Sikki first entered the show, I got the impression that he will play a negative role, especially towards Madhubala. The scene when he flirts with Madhubala comes to mind... However, after Deepali's entry it seems like he is more for than against Rishbala being together and that he is playing a gullible yet mostly positive role.
