Salman Khan's legal case will not affect his film with Barjatyas
With the legal sword dangling over Salman Khan's head in the 2002 hit-and-run case which resulted in the death of a pavement dweller, the fate about his forthcoming films which the actor has signed remains ambiguous. Sometime ago, Rajshri Productions had announced a film with the star, but now with the ensuing legal cases, will the production house go ahead with the film with the star playing a pivotal role? When contacted, the official spokesperson of the production house explained that the legal case will have no bearing on his films. "Such cases take years to resolve. We will definitely go forward with the film with Salman. While the rest of the cast has yet to be finalised, Salman is definitely on board. We are planning to start shooting for the film next year. At the moment, we are involved with the pre-production work. We will make an official announcement soon," said the spokesperson. Breaking the myth that Barjatyas make family dramas, the spokesperson said that the film will revolve around romance. "People have this notion that we make family dramas. But all our films are based on romance ."
