@ Niruba I am not saying Emily is very religious. Had that been the case she would not have loved and married a Hindu boy. All I am saying is Emily is a girl madly and blindly in love with Mohit and when it comes to some basic tenets of religion she finds herself unable to break away and rebel. The example being that of her not going in for an abortion when Mohit rejected her openly. That was again a religious compulsion which prevented her from killing the foetus ( In fact if you go back into history the break up of Christianity into two groups primarily Roman Catholics and Protestants took place on the issue of divorce. The king of England was not permitted to divorce his wife and he broke away from RC church to establish a Protestant Church ) Divorce is difficult and a taboo in Roman Catholicism.

As I see it, Emily wasn't particularly religious. She was just determined to get into RM because CVs needed her there for the current and who knows future dramas. Day after wedding, she was dressed as a mini Bhabo and not putting a foot wrong in a household with different religious practices and traditions. Never asked anyone for advice, never made a single faux pas. She automatically knew everything.

just as a sidebar: Regarding RC and protestantism, Henry VIII just used divorce to break away from the power of Rome, but maintained most of the RC rituals in Anglicanism. Major protestant reformation was started by Martin Luther on more robust theological grounds. Major point being, divorce and abortion are both taboo for any faithful Christian. I can't believe that a character like Emily has made me go here. 😆 She is no paragon of virtue. Just a character who has no excuse to exist.

1, Well I didn't like the character development of Emily either!

CVs should't have raged out Emily to be dressed like M-Gali people in a day!!

I wished they showed more like how they developed Sandhya's initial days!

She need to earn trust, her actions sounds like that of M-Gali peoples!

Previously, she was tactic, considering, and more,

I'm not expecting her to be acting bold, but logical...! thats all...!!

2, Neither didn't like Mohit considering her as unwanted! Emily is no uneducated, down trodden girl, and nor from middle class...!!

Seriously? Mohit, shame on you Man! Agreed you deserted Em for Bhabho's reactions! yet even after everything is settled, can't you show some respect, mercy, consideration to your love! don't you remember how much she trusted you! and still trust you! and love you??!!!!

To me Emily's change in behaviour is due to frustration and insecurity...any normal person wil be like Emily in circumstances she is going through...her actions/ behaviour showed the signifiance of examination to her at the moment...although initially I was angry at her, but now i am thinking in her place she is justified.

I agree that Emily has lost her spunk. Her protests are weak. She falls for Mohit's threats too easily. She is not her former self at all. But she consciously changed herself to win over Bhabho and now that form has taken over her identity. Her pregnancy, Mohit's cruelty and Bhobho's rigidity have made her insecure. She is being self centered also which she used to not be before. But if you have noticed, even Sandy bullies her to some extent. Naughty Sandy.

I have to give her a pass for yesterday. She was not trying to tell on SurYa. She just recounted what happened when ordered to speak by Bhabho and Mohit. I was rather annoyed by SurYa's silence.

I have to agree with you TPji.. Sandy losing to Emily is a huge No No. She should win for Suraj's sake and then tell Bhabho she is willing to give up her dream for ghar ki sukh shanti ( actually Bhabho's sukh shanti, as she is the one making the home a hell because of her insecurities) if she so wishes instead of sacrificing for Emily. If she sacrifices and loses the matka, Suraj is bound to feel extremely guilty for having offered the matka as the guarantee. But then he may not if he realizes that she sacrificed thru the khajoor question. Khajoor ke kitne faide hain. I know I am talking in circles here. RM's having an effect on me too!

Emily must have known about Mohit when he ditched her.But she's hell-bent on winning his heart.He is a 🤬.I want her to lock him up in a room for 10 mins and practice kick-boxing for some time.👍🏼He would come out of their room like this-🤡😛

Bhabhasa couldn't take the family's responsibility coz of his illness.But he loves his children dearly and still feels bad that Suraj had to work since such tender age.Mohit is lethargic and inhuman.He is unconscionable and kind of notorious.There is no comparison between baap-beta.

I think it would be better if Sandhya herself informs Suraj about the LC matter.It's the best option available. Didn't she promise while taking vows that she would always be fair and transparent in their relationship?🤔It would hurt Suraj...no doubt...but getting to know about it later from someone and knowing that Sandhya lost her 2nd matka coz of that would hurt him more.💔😭

The story is in a kind of pause mode,where all plots are just gonna close but dragging.And focus is on Emily and Meena!🤢
