chapter 4

it was the wood yonder , behind the palace , dawn would soon be breaking , everything was long since asleep , only Maharaja Uday Veer Pratabh Singh was still awake , he was walking up and down crushing the tiny grass beneath his legs , a smile was plastered to his face and his eyes sparkled with joy , the memories of the night whizzed through his thoughts , how beautiful his princess looked today , her skin glowing in that bright color and her beautiful face , she looked even more beautiful when she gets scared , his minds were captured by her thoughts , and as unknown to himself his cheek turned red and his could not sweep off the smile from his face , no matter what he said but the smile was always there and after decades he was smiling from heart as he strolled to the abandoned room of the palace , the long corridor ended in that room , it once belonged to his parents but after their death , it was locked by him , never did he want to open it up as with the door many pains would also release but tonight he feared none the only thing he said before unlocking the door was

The door opened to a dark , dirty room filled with spider webs and dust as he lighted the room with his candle light , the lights splashed on the big oil portrait of his mother and father , they looked so majestic and his mother so beautiful and so heavenly as he moved closer he observed something that shook him off guards , he rarely recalled his parents face but today he got a pleasant surprise his mother had the same eyes as that of his princess he caressed her face as flashes of all the childhood days came to his mind , his mother love and his father 's care , he felt like being in the warm embrace of his mother but the very next moment a horrifying scene of his parents battered to dead and a pool of blood came to his mind as he came out of the illusion , tears swelled in his eyes as he looked at the portraid he never let his eyes get wet but today he knew he needed to lighten his heart he needed to forget his past to have good memories of his present as he took the portrait and hugged it with all his force and wepped like a small kid , in middle of his sobs he said

UDAY:you know mom today I got the girl I love she is very good , so innocent yet so brave she is manyata the youngest princess of devgarh but that is not what attracted me , the first night I met her was on the forest and will you believe she nearly took risk of her life for a man eating tiger , every time we encounter her anger sparks the love I have for her in my heart I hope you was here to see her , I would never get a better partner than her and you know she has the same eyes that you have mom her eyes speaks the words her lips try to hide and soon after this month I will wed her and bring her to my palace as my WIFE

In the palace as Maharaja Bridgraaj was seated in his throne as anwar strolled in the room , his anger boiling in him as he asked

ANWAR:I do not understand why father ? why are you letting that creep jerk marry my sister ? don't you know what kind of person he is? Father did you even think once about manyata before taking this decision

A smile crept in all face as manyata mood was lighted up their was a hope for her happiness they all dispersed as manyata sat down on her bed to express her feeling in the paper , that avendra would receive and she was sure that she would get rescuced but what it the same plan nature had for her?
