End Time OF Tv Serials

I just opened this topic to know - why dont tv serials have a end time. they go on and on for years without any end. and people continue to watch them even if they are real torture.

a movie ends in 2-3 hours it has songs and we know it will end but some of our tv serials just have no ending. movie songs are forced and even some scenes are similar to movies.

BV and Uttaran will be completing 5 years this July. how many more to go.

Please dont bash me if I am against the time lmit of Tv shows.

Mods can move this thread to other section if I posted in wrong.

Totally agree with you. I was hoping Bv would end in Feb 2013. But they are dragin it with utter garbage.

cant agree with you more!!! They keep on going on and on .. and loss their meaning!!

They should be a stop or at least season like it is in the West (english serials). We are having a couple of serials here to recently like Na bole tum Na mein kuch kaha - it is doing good, nice break and also entertaining.. Also there is Lapatagunj ..phir se ...

the concept of seasons should start now: there will be another advantage - people will not leave the serials - they will get the gap and holiday and then can re start.

List of success of serial with seasons: I have seen almost all the seasons
