Chapter One
Arnav, Khushi, Garima, Shashi, Payal and Akash were all on the way to Delhi Airport. In the car Garima and Shashi were sat at the back, Shashi was reading a paper and Garima messing with papers in her bag. Shashi put down his paper and turned towards his wife, 'Garima please stop fidgeting, I'm sure you have picked up everything' she sighed and put her bag down and lay her head on his shoulder as he put his arm around her. 'Im not worried about that, do you think we made the right decision to go, do you think they are happy with it' she asked hugging him as a tear dropped from her eye as she thought of leaving their home town. ' i don't know, they took it well, in fact you saw their reaction they were happy, by the looks of it, we will have to see what happens next, and what DM has planned' he said has he let out a sigh and closed his eyes.
Payal and Khushi were sat in the middle in front of them, and they talked on and on about how they would communicate as if the would be living on different planets and clothes and other typical girl talk when Khushi heard her papa sigh and close his eyes. 'Payal do you think we made the right decision by moving, papa and mumma seem upset' 'bhabhi uncle said himself that he made this decision for all of you, and obviously he is going to be upset, he and Aunty have stayed in Dehli practically all they're life together, and moving that far is going to have a affect on them na' Khushi sighed as she leaned back and look out of the window, watching the scenery 'hmm i guess your right'
She suddenly turn causing Payal to jump in her seat slightly, 'Payal you have to promise me you are going to look after her despite what she said, he is still betraying her, so please be careful' 'Bhabhi are you and Bhai ever coming back' Payal asked as she struggled to keep her tears away. Khushi's eyes started to become watery but still looked Payal in the eye and replied in a no nonsense tone 'after what happened even if i or Arnav wanted we will never set foot in that house' she looked towards the passengers seat where Arnav sat with his head lay back and eyes closed most probably asleep, then turned back to Payal and continues 'what Anjali said hurt both of us very much and nothing will change that, but I'm scared, i know NK is in London but how will we manage he doesn't even...' She was cut off by Akash 'Bhabhi, don't worry I'm sure you bhai and NK can come up with something, don't stress to much, and me and Payal are here if you every need anything all you have to do is call okay' ' hmmm' as all he got in return.
It had been a month since Arnav and Khushi had moved in with Shashi and Garima after the incident. They had fully recovered with the help of Payal and Akash and were the only two people that Arnav and Khushi spoke to from RM since that day and no one in RM knew that.
Arnav though looked like he was asleep was aware of what was going on in the back of the car. He knew what Khushi had told Payal was right no matter what happened they would never be able to set foot in shantivan again. He knew that once again he would have to start from the beginning again to help the family, but this time he knew that he had Khushi by his side and would be able to go further than before. His thought went back to the time when everything had fell apart.
Flash back
Arnav and Khushi where on there way back in to RM in the SUV when Khushi spoke 'Arnav wait i have to talk to you about the kidnap' 'not now Khushi first lets go home' 'no Arnav this cant go on any longer we have to tell Di and the family about Shyam' she said turning to face Arnav who was driving. Arnav took hold of her hand and kissed the inside of her palm and place it on his thigh and entwined his hand with hers.
'Khushi we don't have enough proof they won't believe us if we tell them now' ' so what, Arnav this is getting out of hand' Khushi's eyes started to well up 'Arnav please we will just explain everything from the beginning and mumma and papa know too, i want him away from us please' tears started streaming down her cheeks.
Arnav pulled the car to a side and stop it, he took of his seat belt, got out of the car and walked around to Khushi's side. He opened the door, gently eased her legs around so she sat side ways and stood in between them carefully minding her wound, then held her face in his hands. 'baby please don't cry, we will tell them everything in fact we will go see mumma, papa first then go and tell them, please stop crying Baby i cant see you cry' he started kissing her tears away but her tears didn't stop. Khushi just pulled him into a hug.
Arnav was taken by surprise and landed on top of her. She fell back on the seat with Arnav on top of her and just lay in each others arms seeking strength to break the news. After what seems like ages Khushi's phone rang, thats when Arnav realised he was on top of her. Arnav got of and Khushi picked up her phone and saw 'papa' flashing on the screen. 'Arnav, Papa' 'answer it but don't tell him we are on our way' he said then help Khushi sit and closed the door. Khushi answered the phone and put it on speaker whilst Arnav brought the car alive and started to turn towards GH.
'hello papa' 'are Khushi what took you so long to answer the phone' 'sorry papa, we have been busy, how are you' 'Khushi since Arnav and you have left for London, you didn't call us. Are you that busy that you don't call haan, besides your mumma is missing you and Arnav very much' hearing this both Arnav and Khushi smiled.'acha only mumma missing us haan...Arnav suna papa doesn't miss us' She said pouting to which Arnav let out a chuckle 'Kya papa sach?' He said into the phone.'haha no my children we both are missing you two''Aww papa we are missing you too...papa we will talk to you in 20 minutes okay' 'teek hai baby...we will talk in a bit' 'love you' she cut the call and turned off her phone before anyone rang back.
20 minutes later Shashi and Garima Gupta were waiting for the phone to ring so they could speak to their daughter and son, when the door bell rang. 'Are, who has come, Garima was you expecting any guests' 'no i didn't call anyone i wonder who it is. You wait i will go and see' Garima went to the door and Shashi followed. But what she saw made here stumble a few steps back as tears rolled down her face.
'GARIMA!!!'
