Jodha Akbar gives all those flavours.

Of conquests and love.

When I heard it was going to be Ekta, I'm not going to lie, I had my doubts. But I tuned in any way, mostly because I loved the movie version of Jodha Akbar. And I must say Ekta has outdone herself in terms of the sets, costumes and grandeur.

One thing Ekta never compromises (as far as I have observed) is the acting prowess of her leads. And so far the leads have not disappointed.

I'm such a schoolgirl fangirl when it comes to all those sword fights and talks of valour and kingdoms.

Here Akbar is ofc different from one in the movie, but I think considering most Mughal kings were supposed to be ruthless, it's not that outta character.

And Jodha is Miss Kickass 😆 I really think she's Ekta's great catch of the season. I love it when she's on screen.

So bring on the battles, the star crossed lovers, the cliches and the sword fights. I'm on board.
