Your title sums up everything nandu...and i totally agree with you on this post...

there is NO 'I' in a 'Team'...The Team is never about one person...regardless of how others view you, one never is a hero in a group of friends...

"why exactly just ONE individual is made the glorified be-all and end-all of D3, all the time."-this is something that i have been irritated about all along...

WHY?? i really dont get it...he is the hero for the whole college agreed!! he is looked up to by his friends fine, but why show him to be the hero alone to the viewers, when there are the other leads of the show popular too?? Now m not saying to turn swayam all like rey here, not at all...but my point is Why are there no exclusive tracks that would highlight him and sharon with their story to the viewers?? when it comes to something about Where the show is doing a Group track or its about like for instance the 'Monday mega episode' which was 1 hour special, why only highlight ONE character out of 12?? Okay fine you'll wanted to show whatever you'll had to about Rey, show it...no issues there BUT Why are other leads not given importance at the same time?? and when the tracks are about SwaRon why is he needed to be shown, over their important scene's??

Be it about on-screen scene's or anything to do with Off-screen events where d3 is highlighted, Rey/KAS is the only one shown as representative there...no offense to KAS but others need to be given the due credit and chances to get recognized too...

The Mega Challenge episode was something i had really liked coz each one got importance there as a team...and same going opposite here in the mega monday episode where its all about one person

Come on yaar it was about something special of D3 and there they highlighting only Rey is SO unfair Whole 1 hour special and other Lead Couple doesn't even get 5 mins is REALLY disappointing and that tops with no proper handling of SwaRon's individual characters as well with they being just used to highlight one character of the show I really dont get all this man WHY???

This is not one man show n if its even being shown that way m surely not interested in it🥱 Every lead DESERVES equal importance if not more...

I am plainly confused as a viewer why always one person grabs the centre of attention and writers have so much of unfair liking towards just one character who apparently is REY..? There may be people who love to watch him but there are people who love to watch swayam and sharon too..its not like we are asking turn the show into swaron story but demanding a fair balance to the other pair of leads who had been working equally hard is it anyway wrong?
every track whether it has apparent roles of Swayam Sharon gang or not bit rey has a dominant part to play in it..
be it swayam's father who diesnt put an eye to his own son but has a delusional liking towards Rey..swayam doesnt have scenes with his father compared to what rey gets..how unrealistic is that..?Swayam's injury track started but ended with rey's prominent heroism..tale doesnt end here..Swayam the boy who has been written as a loverboy characterwise is shown taking tips from rey why??We dont appreciate it when rey takes away the moments of others..he is glorified for unrealistic causes.Swayam's character and every other character is cyclicly churned into rey dependence..
when we ask for swaron Palki Maam says we dont have a heart to appreaciate tthe efforts of the whole team..but isnt the effort on the writers part always centred towards rey..the amount of scren space which the characters together dont get..Rey easily snatches away..
do explain us the logic..behind D3 made the chronicles of rey and only rey..
one hour special episode dedicated in rey's honour..funny part is such epis keep coming..but only for rey..no other character gets the priviledge to have episodes written on them for one hour..reyam gets more footage than the lead couples..rey is the hero..inspiration etc etc but hell lot of people dont go with it..when will the sun shine on others except rey..makers?

This has always been the RULE of d3,to make sure that one particular character gets all the desired footage and limelight,and for other characters-"who cares" attitude..Good going cvs..!! Keep it up.! But one thing i would like to add-i dont know about others but for me,theres a certain limit till which i can digest this utter nonsense,after that i will have to quit the show if this trend continues..I am also not against Kas,or rey..NO..! But the thing is swayam and sharon too deserve equal screespace and importance if not more..And gang is toh always there to witness the drama,they have no role to play..Really a sad state of affairs..D3 has ensemble cast..Not a man show please..!! Cvs better look into this matter before its too late..They should really stop taking Swayam/Sharon/SwaRon fans for granted..!!

I don't get Channel V india nd the cv''s trying their level best to sell a certain idea of a 'hero' to the audience. For some Rey might be a hero but for me he is NOT.Rey does NOT fit in my definition of a hero so what shud i do then??? STOP watching the show???
Swayam is a character which suits my definition of a hero. Deglamourised, simple yet effective and touches a viewer's heart. And I know for a fact like u said,those who think like me do NOT fall in the minority for sure. For me Shantanu is the best actor and dancer in the show and deserves so much more than what he gets and what he has got all this while. It is just so sad to see the channel nd the writers forcing the same old one-hero glorification on us. To an extent we have tolerated,but now after 2 years no more. NDC shud be abt the team's win and NOT glorification of one character.
P.S- Agar sab Rey ko itna pasand karte toh Swayam ke itne fans nah hote aur sabse bada fan-page uske name se nah hota.
CHANNEL V INDIA and the cv's are BLIND and this will only lead to the downfall of the show. Why can't both Rey and Swayam lovers be kept happy together?

Yes u are not nandini! for me n as far as i know they are many for whom swayam is hero!

Swayam is my fav character, i love him for his uniqueness maturity sensibility, patience but cvs are hell burnt in fading all his unique quality. I hate it when cvs potray swayam as nodding guy in background.. i hate it when i see one male lead always dance in side.. i hate it when loverboy himself want other advice to impress his lady love...

Seriously why spot light is not given to swayam. it is not comparison but both are lead so y never swayam???

I have been watching D3 since it's very beginning too. And like you, this constant "Hero-worship" and giving unreasonable credits is something that we have been watching for over 2 years now. And that too, constantly. And this is seriously irksome. It is very sad to believe from all of this that D3 does not have a better message to offer than that. That to keep the constant picture of "Hero" alive i.e. mainly Reyansh, as being portrayed by the creatives of the show, the standards can fall down to any level. To the level of completely ripping the characters of the other leads apart, to the level of diluting other people's characters in order to glorify the supposed "hero". Do you want to make us believe that there is nothing more to Reyansh's character other than being glorified as a hero amongst his mates whom he always ditches and hence you justify that you have to really tone down the strength and power of other characters just for the SOLE purpose of this much much MUCH un-needed glorification?

NOT COOL, just in case you thought otherwise. Not cool AT ALL. 😊

Bad thing i expected anything else from the creatives. You know the thing is, I'm not against Rey's character. But the way this story is being handled, it is making me absolutely loathe his character. not only me, I know a lot of fans who are undergoing the same thing. 😃

So what does this "hero" of the show do? Ditch his team EVERY single time they need him and that too because of his personal issues? As far as I know, a "hero" is supposed to be there with his team through all their ups and downs and not create the 'downs' himself , that too ALL the time. I don't understand why the team calls him their "inspiration" when they themselves are the most begrudged and disgruntled when something like this happens. Which to say, is very often. 😳 But they wont say anything to him on his face, since he is their "hero" and sole inspiration. Sure. What friendship. 😳

You guys made Swayam beg in front of Rey. Beg to take his sister back as his "girlfriend" and for tips to "impress" his own girlfriend, massage this so called "hero". This is something which we will never forgive you for. NEVER. You just can't go about butchering his or anyone else's character as you please, creatives. This is going to sound so very rude but this is what is on all of out minds since MANY weeks. We as fans are not tolerating this Bullshit. 👎🏼

Swayam does not need anyone to tell him how to be with his girl. He is the love guru. He was the one everyone came to for advice and help. Even your own "hero". Why do you have to ruin the very essence of characters so much??

And you know what? We dont even need to bother about stuff like this. Bcause we have lives of our and problems of our own to deal with. But STILL we care about your creations. We care SO much its not even funny. So it is time, Cinevistaas, that you start caring for your characters too and stop with the unrequired rubbish on the show.

Finally a post from nandini di...and special thank you for this awesome post...

So swayam, swaron what a beautiful creation, specially my swayam i loved him so much once now i am still loving him only because of shantannu. I start to watch this show for arsha and i really like rey but swayam is the one character which made me go mad for both as a character and shantannu as actor i started falling for swaron because of swayam. I never imagined too much about any TV character but after watching swayam i prayed god pls give us a person like him because he is not the one who act like hero but he has all the ability to bring the hero inside you. A person who always give more importance to hidden qualities not their outside behaviour thats why he loved sharon and still loving her. There are lot of ppl who used to give him advices in the beginning but he never listen to anyone just followed his heart so the result is now he has sharon in his life. His love, his friendship, his smile, his emotions, his intelligence, his maturity, his innocence, his patience, his unpredictability totally he is the eternal character. But how its only because of cvs who created him in a such a beautiful way and bcs of shantannu even though none of us dont know him before D3, but now his fan following today he get what he deserved.

Now coming to this phase of D3 i seriously dont know what happened after kriya's exit. I am clearly observing this slowly each and every unique qualities of swayam shifting to other why???? First swayam the friend almost vanished, then his intelligence smartness start to reduce, his maturity is gone, swayam the poet gone, lover boy image start to reduce, after asthma revelation his unpredictable behaviour gone, the person who knows in and out of sharon, a love guru for many in the beginning started begging for ideas now what left???? where is swayam??? answer us cvs...

Why there is no exclusive track for swayam / shatannu even though he is a lead???? or you ppl want to prove that he is not important to show??? If that is true why you ppl give proper screen space and everything swayam character needed in jan to march why???? why you ppl use shantannu for 4 dance performance, choreography in VD special. why????? Why every promo regarding pappa shikawath had more about swayam but in the episode its opposite. why???? why you ppl never leave shantannu in any promotional event of D3. why???? Why there is not a single group dance in which tannu is not there you ppl can easily exclude him but never did that till now. why????

"D3 is a show about 11 dancers who are passionate for dance" this lines is the most funniest line i ever heard from cvs. What exactly happened to D3 after 2012 ???why this turned a team to one's story??? why cvs are behind swayam to destroy him completely??? They introduced swayam pappa track and swayam injury track but in the whole track till now we are not able to get one single p.o.v about his dad. Rey and sharon are the one who talked bcs of this they indirectly showed he dont have guts to speak. What happened to swayam after asthma revelation. is it too difficult to handle him bcs we all know its hard to maintain swayam character bcs it need extra care. what is the matter cvs answer us...Now sharon such a strong character but now she is just a dancer in team and swayam's GF more then that rey BFF. She is the manager of D3 team but no one discussing about D3 team these day strange.

I dont want cvs to show swayam as the HERO in their definition but i want him to remain the UNSUNG HERO of D3. Please dont destroy him...

P.S: Sorry for the long reply from my side to any of the post in this forum...swayam means a lot to me...

first of thank u so much fr making dis post..u really spoke my heart out...honestly i hate typical so called heros..bcz i m nvr able to relate wid dem..n i love swayam's character mainly bcz its STRONG N SENSIBLE..nt hero.. swayam's character hv always been different n unique frm others..n tht is s main reason tht v all love him..bt off lately his character has been butuchered..his individuality n majnuness both hv been dissapeared..he has bcm a disciple..n i hate it..u knw it hurts whn i saw him asking ideas frm any1 else to woo his sharon..n today whn he was insisting rey to answer back d other team..i was lyk..yar y cnt u say urself..u r nt dumb.. cmg to swayam's charater..i hv akways related him wid SUN (pls dnt gv me geography lectures)..who gvs everybody its light..swayam is lyk tht..dere hv been number of tyms whn he was hurt bcz of his DIL..bt still he nvr let his team dwn..he performed in charity event although knwng tht sharon didnt want to open d shut book..he participated in BB match..bcz he didnt wanted his team to suffer...n he did all tht widout any faltu ka tashan or heroic entry..he has always been simple..n dis innocence n simplicity is reflected in SWARON too..he has always been d man of few words..n a team player..he binds d team in 1 unit.. cmg to sharon..aftr swayam she is d most strong character in d3..she is real n relatable n truly represents today's youth..she is strong, extremist..who nvr standed any1's crap..well her character has been ruined..bcz nwdays she is interested in evrythng else apart frm her love..

i guess my definition fr hero is diff..hero is nt who ditch d team at last moment, n surely has 6 pack abs n shw tashan..a hero can be simple who joints d team n stand by dem whenever required..

no matter whether d whole d3 team, cvs n every1 else blindly worships a single character..bt swayam/shantanu was, is n will be my HERO..

n if heros r nt lyk him..thn i would be happy calling swayam a strong character..

Nandini bang on post!!! Iv always had this doubt of why one person is center staged when it comes to anything in D3!!! In today's epi, Nil said the person who brought us till this stage is not with us!! what are CV's trying to prove? the gang didnt give in their best? Its only coz of that ONE person D3 team reached finals?😕

firstly, when they all cheer up saying "Hero Hero Hero Hero", it just irks me!! no friend will cheer up like that, like cheering up some politician!! 😳 Why is the gang never shown to have belief in their talent and the team's? why should they always depend on ONE person? I dont understand this logic!!

This is a youth show and in college life, no one worships their fellow student like this... Even if they are talented, they can be appreciated by not worshipped to this level!!

coming to swayam, for me he defines a true HERO!! The way he stands with his team in hard times, supports them to gain confidence, solves the problems silently... His patience, sensibility and talent.. everything makes him the hero for me!! But he is happy without any recognition for all this... Fine glorify the other character, but why kill swayam's individuality? 🤔 let that one person be the hero, but when it comes to sharon, swayam is the hero!! please dont make swayam beg for ideas!!!

Sharon, why is her character being butchered? where is the SRP who used to be straigh forward and face problems? now even she is side-lined.. she is again a supporter to D3's hero!!!

Im waiting for the day when D3 members behave like a team rather than depending on one person!!! i wish that day comes soon...

@Black...that is seriously just so ironic.

And I completely agree with everything you've said Rumu...it's true, most tracks circle their way to being about the same one person for reasons best known to God knows who. Certainly not me, because for me there are people and characters deserving of prominence who never get it the way they should.
