Shekhar opens the door, Rukmini takes Shekhar to one corner and explains him that Jia has forgiven her and that Shekhar should do his best to erase their unpleasant past. Shekhar is very tense because of Nethra's presence in the same house and knows that any moment they will get to know of it. Jia meanwhile walks towards Shekhar's bedroom , Shekhar tries to stop her, but its too late. Shekhar waits outside the room thinking that the hell is going to get loose on him now…..he knows that he would never be able to explain Jia about the circumstances under which he had to bring ' behind a weak, frail and ill Nethra behind. So to meet her and thanks her for saving him from all the trouble, Shekhar on some pretext goes back to the guest house. He finds Nethra in the out house of the guest house where Nethra cries inconsolably. Nethra says that today the situation has made her realize what difference does it make to be one's wife than just a lover. Shekhar understands her pain, but has to leave being in a hurry to join Rukmini and Jia. On his way back, Shekhar stops the car for some road side tea, gets down and away from Jia and Rukmini , calls up Samar and tells him about the latest situation .
