Dhoka, An Illusion of Eye

Dear Readers,

Thanks for all your love and support for my previous works.

As my previous FF "The Wilted Rose learnt to Smile" came to an end, I have thought of starting a new story named "Dhoka, An Illusion of Eye". Just like my previous two FFs this one also has a strong message associated and might not be for people who like to read simple romantic or happy go lucky sort of stories.

Shiv for me might not be an extremely good looking hunk with good height and 6 peck abs like Shidharth Shukla or Ranveer Kapoor or Hritik Roshan. I have come across with many such men in life with no inner charm. My Shiv is "The Man" with a golden heart. A man who is honest, sincere, dutiful, loving and could go to any extent to make his Anandi happy. An ideal man whom every female cherishes as a life partner.

Similarly my Jagdish is no Shashank Vyas. He is just an evil character with no name.

Unfortunately in real life we can't judge a Shiv and a Jagdish from day one. Unlike the story where we ink these two characters as black and white with their NAMES in real life we won't have a way to forecast "Who is Who". And we should not be judgmental on their looks.

My current work is an attempt to warn young females to take their decisions wisely in life. This precious life is a gift of God not to be wasted by crying over the past and the wrong decisions that we made. Courage, honesty, strong determination and intellect could always lead us to a better future. I wish all gals find a true Shiv in their lives.

Unlike the characters in BV, my Anandi is a super feminist. She does not forget or forgive as she believes that the character of a human being never ever changes. Just as history, it keeps on repeating itself. True love can not be judged by only passionate encounters at nights. It's much more than that. In my view, soul mate is the one who is with you in your difficult times and never leaves your hands even for a second. And for that I won't mind to choose a guy named as Jagya with the heart of a Shiv over someone named and looks of Shiv with a rotten mind.

My characters of Shiv and Anandi are people that I can relate to my own self. My Jagdish would be evil, representing evil in some form or the other. They are simply black and white as characters!!

Just like my other FFs, the current one is also based on some real world stories. Thanks to the India Forum members who have PMed me some of their saddest experiences in life. I can not share their names here, but express my whole hearted gratitude for trusting me this much; and also wish others to learn from their mistakes.

P.S. Also unlike my other FFs I am going to change the looks of Shiv, Anandi & Jagdish as per the demand of the story. I won't be using any pictures of Shidharth Shukla, Pratyusha or Shashank Vyas for the same.

I had thought of sending this new topic next weekend, however I did it now as I got many PMs for starting a new one pretty soon. This one might be a good news for them.

Please allow me few days till I collect material and send the first chapter.
