Flashback

Monday

Khushi: Jiji..how are you??

She hugged Payal.

But Payal just formally hugged her and left her.

She thought Payal must be getting ready for work so she had disturbed her and went away.

Tuesday

After dinner Payal was talking and giggling with someone on phone.

Khushi just asked casually with whom Payal was talking.

Payal disconnected the call and threatened her.

" listen, you are my cousin and remain as a cousin..don't try to act smart.

Who the hell are you to ask me with whom am I talking ?"

Wednesday

Khushi and Payal had gone to Mandir. Someone was following them.

Khushi: jiji..someone is following us.

Payal: shut up and walk quietly.

Khushi: but Jiji it is not safe

Payal didn't answer her.

Khushi: Jiji I could see you are getting disturbed by that person.

Payal: No.

Khushi:let's call someone

Payal: do you know who is disturbing?? YOU !! Why the hell do you come here?

Thursday

Khushi: jiji I hade made kheer for you. Please eat Jiji.

Payal: I will eat later at night.

Khushi: ok.

Before going to sleep Khushi gave the bowl of kheer to Payal.

Khushi: Jiji taste and tell how it is.

Payal: yeww..oh god..how many kilos of sugar had you poured??

Khushi: but Jiji you love sweets and..

Payal: goddamn with you..go to sleep..go.

Friday

At morning she woke up only to see the kheer is poured into the kitchen dustbin.

Khushi couldn't control her tears anymore.

Later at night around 10p.m. she saw Payal getting dressed.

She didn't understand and asked and she heard so harsh words that she don't want to recall it even.

And thinking all these things she dozed off.. ..

Later at night.. she felt a muscular body beside her..

She woke up alarmed and was shocked..

A man in his late twenties..was standing near the cupboard..

Khushi: thief..thief!!

Someone hold her mouth and pushed down to bed.

Those piercing brown eyes.

Khushi tried to talk..but his hands were so firm on her..and his weight on her little fragile body was making her numb.

He spoke.

Khushi felt like she is in some dreamland. In a world of imagination. His features were not clearly visible by the small bedside lamp..but enough visible to create ripples in her heart..and her heart went dhak..dhak.. ..

And when he spoke she felt a strange feeling..

as if she is melting and she will be vanishing into vapours..

" I am not any thief.."

Khushi's mouth was covered but her eyes were speaking volumes..

He could see fear in her eyes..her body struggling to get away from him..

It was very clear to him what she was assuming about him..

He knew silence would do nothing except worsen the matter. He need to tell her about himself and his purpose of staying here.

" I am not going to harm you anyway"

Khushi was trying to look aside finding someone.

He answered her that query too without letting her speak.

"you are finding Payal, right? She has only told me to stay here on behalf of her"

Khushi's eyes were full of tears and disbelief.

Khushi's POV

Jiji called this man?? I never thought she can go to such extent..hai Devi Maiyya..save me..help me..Who is this man?? Please Devi Maiyya save me..save me..

Arnav's POV

Did I really come here with any good intentions? No. Then why I am acting like a saint??

Why the hell could I read her eyes?? What is happening with me??

Knock..knock..knock..

" sanka devi..why were you shouting?? Open the door..
