The Show Takes A Leap,More Actors Quit The Show

Sony Tv's Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, produced by Shashi Sumeet Mittal Productions, never really took off and fared well on the TRP charts.

As the show gears up to take a five year leap, more than one actor is calling it quits on the show. Rohit Khurana, who played Madhav/Ehsaas on the show, was the first to opt out. Looks like Abhishek Mallik who plays Rahul on the show and Mitali Nag aka Prerna are following suit.

Apparently, both the actors were just not happy with their characters' progress on the show.
Abhishek says "I got to play all that I was promised initially by the makers. But, the creatives were uncertain about the direction of my character post the leap so I decided to quit. The decision was amicable." The progression of the character seems to be the bone of contention with Mitali too. She says " I was not happy with how my character was shaping up on the show. It never really took off from the beginning so I felt the leap was the right time to make an exit."

Both the actors have shot their last scene. According to the plot, the story is shifting to Bangalore.
