Chapter 2

In the kitchen avendra was extremely busy –saucepans, and frying pans were standing in the rows gigantic hearth the huge stockpot stood in a corner , and the jack turned with slow deliberation , and presented alternately to the glow every side of a noble sirloin meat . he was stirring the stockpot methodically over the fire as a voice screamed cutting it way down through the tree into his years , it could not be mistaken such honey cube was none but was of his dream lady the princess but why did she sound so helpless , he did not give a second thought , the last thing before moving out was he got hold of the royal fighter sword and rode in his horse into the wet grass of the jungle , the tree branches looking like witches hand ready to trap him and the winds howling by his side but he feared none as he had been grown up in the forest and he was an habituate to such phenomena of nature such brave solider feared nothing but today his face covered with sweat and his heart pounded as he rode towards the ravine the voice was clearer . his horse stopped near the ravine and he was struck by horrow an unknown man was caring his princess away and she looked so helpless struggling with her tiny body , for the very first time he saw her eyes filled with tears his heart felt being attacked by several arrows as he got down from his horse with all his mighty force he raced his legs toward them and on reaching he screamed his lungs out

AVENDRA:stop you traitor place Rajkumarisa down now or I will not regret cutting you down into thousand pieces

The blood –curdling yell stopped uday , he turned back as he saw avendra he was determined to claim the princess tonight and he really did not mind if it cost blood of someone too , so he carefully placed her on the ground as she composed herself , his hands still tightly around her wrist and each time with the struggle his grip got stronger his nails piercing into her skin , as avendra felt blood racing into his nerve , his eyes were redden with anger and he got hold of his sword even tighter as he spoke under his breath

AVENDRA:leave her she is not commoner but the princess of this land

He gave him on of the most coldest look and said sternly

UDAY:you too must know I lay my hands on no commoner and I am sure you are not aware of my identity and that must be the reason of your attitude towards me

At this statement avendra passed a smile as he concluded

AVENDRA:who in this world is aware of the devil you are Maharaja Uday Veer Pratbh Singh of Jaigrah but you must know you are now in Devgarh

UDAY:you force me to think weather you are stupid or just arrogant I mean being aware of my power still you think to challenge me your duty comes before your life so I would have not regrets to murder a patriot tonight

As uday loosen his grip , she raced and hide herself behind avendra she noticed uday giving her lustful looks as this was noticed by avendra too , both drawn their swords and then started the fight their sword battling each other , both had a hunger to kill the opponent and their anger spoke through their attack no one wanted defence both fought and attacked manyata heart came to her mouth as she noticed a cut on avendra bare shoulder , but he composed himself and with the wounded arm he fought , the sword clashed each other as the noise thundered in the jungle by now avendra was left with marks covering his body but uday fought with his smile not even a single attack dared to touch his body , manyata could see avendra loosing all his energy she could sence it was coming to an end she did not want to risk his life as she crossed all her barrier that night and she screamed coming in middle of the fight holding to uday 'arms and looking at him with pleading eyes and hot tears rolling down her cheek

MANYATA:please stop I say please do not attack him

Avendra holded his wounded arm in one and with other his sword due to the wounds he could not even stand blood covered his face still he did not want to give up as he said shivering with pain

AVENDRA:rajkumarisa you go I will fight him

This scene was witnessed by uday as he loosen his grip on the sword and put it back he looked at manyata whose eyes had peace now he touched her cheek softly and said

UDAY:I will come back to make you fine not for a nightly pleasure but forever

For the first time he spoke of his heart as she saw him riding through the stones and rushing water of the river and there he was into the other part of the jungle , dawn had torn as birds crippled as he smiled to himself watching her on the side of ravine after a decade he heard his heart beat , he was aware he could finish the warrior with one stroke of his sword but her eyes were like a drug to him and her voice so pleading that he could not reject her , he was not coward or lier she did win this time but his love made her win even the thought of her being close to anyone made him boil in anger , finally he discovered his feeling he had fallen in love with the her not for her beauty but for her innocence and true to his words he decided to make her his life partner that dawn was not only for a new day but also for a new phrase of life as he rode back to his palace her thought captured his mind he was greeted by sujamal kakasabh on the way to his court that morning as he asked

SUJAMAL:I know I have mentioned about it earlier but I would inform you for the another time the jaigarh royal need an heir so did you decide anything or shall we arrange sayambhar

UDAY:kakasa sayambhar are for those helpless princess I am warrior king I do not ask I snatch and I have decided I will marry the youngest daughter of Devgrah Rajkumari Manyata and that is my final decision
