Khushi was too thinking about her condition and she couldn't come across Arnav's sparkling eyes and naughty smirk.

But she couldn't continue with her sweet thoughts.

Hariprakash knocked the door.

HP: Khushi ma'am aapke liye. Saab ne bheja hai.

Translation: Khushi ma'am this is for you. Sir has sent it.

I really couldn't use English for HP..it's damn too odd.

Khushi's POV

Is it by Arnav?? Really?? How does he know that I like red roses so much!! But what is it for?? I should ask him once.

But a letter fell out from the bouquet. She didn't notice it though.

Khushi: not bad.. Mr. Affectionate Sweet Raizada. One day and he is falling for me!! Not bad!!

She kept the bouquet and went to his room.

She knocked this time.

Arnav opened the door with a frown.

She didn't expect this. However she was about to thank him, but

Arnav: what's now??

Khushi: actually you..you..had..s.

Arnav: don't say I am shouting now. I am busy with my teleconference.

Khushi: no..not that..

Arnav: I am busy and you are disturbing now. Please leave.

He closed the door upon her face.

Khushi's POV

How rude!! Romantic my foot!! How could I even think of him like that!! If he would send me..he would send me bunch of thorns not flowers.

Mr. Arrogant Stupid Raizada.

But who had sent this now??

Khushi opened the door and saw a pink paper lying on the floor. She recognised the handwriting immediately.

The letter..

My Chashmish,

Please..please meet me once..I will tell you everything. What you saw..was not true. Please. Just one chance.

Your love,

Mohit.

She tore off the letter and threw down the bouquet.

She threw herself in bed..and hugged the pillow tight and started crying..

Flashback

Last night after the party..Mohit tried to kiss her..

But, she couldn't..and stopped him completing their kiss.

Mohit: what happen??

Khushi: I am not comfortable..I need time.

Mohit stepped back. Disappointment was clearly shouting from his expression.. ..

Next day..Khushi bought a bouquet of red roses.

She knew that Mohit will be out for work now.

She had told in her house that she will be going to library.

She followed him..

The car stopped in front of a maternity clinic.

Khushi was totally confused by now!!!

She entered the clinic.

She got the shock of her life.

The bouquet fell from her hand.

Her tears caused everything seem blurred in front of her eyes.

Khushi jerked and took herself out from his hold.

Khushi: you cheater..deceiver..I hate you..I HATE you.

Mohit: Khushi..I love you..please..listen..she is not preg.

Khushi now answered him with a tight SLAP.

Khushi: you are ruining my life as well as that girl's and the unborn baby.

I HATE you..never show your face again.

She left without letting Mohit to complete the sentence.

Finally all girls' were madly missing Arjun.

Anjali's face looked more relieved than any other thing..

And while Aradhana and Anjali were busy talking..someone's face was giving few subtle hints.

The message was from none else than Mr. Arjun Malik.

Though the message was quite a typical Arjun style..full of formality..but after all Arohi was a woman..and it's woman's nature to read between the lines.

I think my mother and aunt needs a check-up.

Reply with your free time.

Arohi wrote the message in reply as soon as she got his message..but she didn't send immediately.

She didn't want Arjun to think that she is thinking about him or something like that.

She will take time.

Few minutes later he looked at the clock.

He had sent the message half an hour ago.

He decided to call in the hospital and ask for Arohi.

But everything was there in just that one line.

Arjun felt himself in the top of the world.

It seemed as if she needed a strong pair of arms to hold her..

She tried to forget her past completely..

And then a series of events occurred..

the disasters came one after another..

Arnav ended his teleconference and summoned HP for a cup of strong black coffee.

HP entered his room carrying a tray.

HP kept the tray at bedside table and put his coffee mug.

There were more cups for tea. Another cup of coffee..which didn't escape Arnav's attention.

Arnav: HP I asked for a cup.. A cup. Why are you carrying another cup??

HP: wo..madam manga.

(Translation: Madam asked for.)

Arnav: Which Madam??

Arnav very well knew that everyone in this house disliked anything bitter..be it his choice of coffee or his lashing tongue..

HP: Khushi madam.

Arnav: ohh..okk..you can go..

A smile unknowingly came in his face and without any intention his eyes twinkled.

It was night time..

Anjali had called everyone for dinner.

The fish market session continued as well..

But Aradhana was relatively less talking.

Arnav couldn't stop teasing his little sister.

Arnav: What happened Anna?? You are talking so less??

Anna: nothing: it's ok..just concentrating in food.

Arnav: really?? I thought you were saving taxes.

Anna: huh?

Anjali: what for??

Khushi gave a confused look.

Arnav: c'mon..the way Anna is behaving as if now we have to pay taxes for smiles and laughter and not money.

Khushi smiled sheepishly.

And the whole dining table was bustling with laughter.

Meanwhile Arohi was cursing herself for agreeing immediately to Arjun.

It was 8:30 p.m.

She had been waiting for the last 20 minutes in her cabin in the hospital and Arjun has brought neither his mother nor his chachi.

No he didn't come..neither any of his family members.

His call came.

Arohi was literally fuming.

She was very punctual..and 20 minutes were wasted in hope..she could have got 3 patients' check-up.

She tried to keep her temper cool and received the call.

When she heard Arjun speaking and asking her about..

she forgot to reply..she forgot the time..and everything..

Khushi was going upstairs with random thoughts blocking her mind..and as evident it was..she slipped..

She was falling down..

But a strong pair of arms pulled her saving from the fall and she hit hardly into someone's rock hard chest.

She opened her eyes and got lost..

His looks were so captivating for her..that it made her little heart beat faster..

And when he spoke..

The matter about he spoke..was least..and the last thing she could have imagined..ever and that too from no other than Arnav Singh Raizada.

When she heard Arjun speaking and asking her about..

She forgot to reply..she forgot the time..and everything..

Arjun Malik is asking her for dinner??

She was at complete loss of words. But she wanted to test the waters before saying him a YES. Because saying YES to dinner and that to Arjun Malik means indirectly saying " I am interested on you."

Arohi: but, check-up?

Arjun: I am asking for that only.

Arohi: I didn't get you.

Arjun: Actually the circumstances are such that both of them need a check-up but..

Arohi didn't let him finish the sentence and asked

Arohi: huh?? You want to take me out for dinner for check-up?? Your mom and chachi will get their check-up done at some restaurant??

Arjun: you don't have patience, do you lady??

Arohi was short of words with such tone of Arjun.

Arjun finally delivered his short speech.

Arjun: Mom and chachi have gone to satsang and I want their check-up done by today because I will be leaving tomorrow for my business and I will return at least a week later.

They had returned just now and are very exhausted. So they asked me to call you at home directly. It's quite late and while you end up the check-up it will be dinner time. So my mom suggested me to ask you for dinner as well.

Arohi: ohh..so aunty asked for dinner!!

Arjun: why? What did you think?? I will ask you for dinner??

Arohi: no.

Arjun: good to hear that you hadn't and yeah don't think also like that.

Arohi: hmm. By what time I need to reach??

Arjun: 5 minutes.

Arohi: whaat?? How?? It is quite a distance from here and you are..

Arjun: uff.. ..you never let me complete, do you?

Arohi: sorry.

Arjun: come down to the parking area in 5 minutes. I am waiting there.

Khushi looked at his eyes..

There was a tinge of guilt in his eyes.

Arnav: actually I was feeling bad from last night.

Khushi: what for?

Arnav: I thought my actions had disturbed you and you drove after that and the accident..

Khushi: yes, I was disturbed by that only.

The tinge of guilt in his eyes had now turned to full of guilt.

Khushi tried to manage the situation.

Khushi: I was not disturbed only for your actions that night.

Arnav gave a dubious look.

Khushi: I was confused.

Arnav was now even more confused.

Khushi: yes, confused I was.

Arnav now pulled her close to him making her breathe heavily..

Khushi closed her eyes and clutched her dress tightly.

Then she could feel no more. She opened her eyes and saw Arnav is standing with a gap of two stairs.

Now she understood that Arnav pulled her to make her stand straight and not for some other reasons which she considered.

Khushi: this makes me confused..

Arnav: what the!!

He turned and climbed upstairs.

Khushi followed him quickly and stopped him before he could enter his room.

Khushi: Arnav-ji.

Arnav looked back at her.

What did she call him?? Arnav-ji.

He had no idea that his name could sound so pleasant..so soothing.

The way she called him made him rethink about her and he gave her the scope to speak.

Khushi: actually I was confused.

Arnav: Khushi trust me, if you say " I am confused" again I will surely tape your mouth.

Khushi: okk..okk..it's because of you only.

Arnav: what?? For me??

Khushi: yeah. Your behaviour at that ceremony made me think you were a gentleman.

Arnav gave a sceptical look.

Khushi: I think you are a gentleman now also. I mean your behaviour, manners and everything differed so much that I became confu..I mean I saw a different you at that ceremony..and then at office and the exhibition and again NOW !!!

Arnav started laughing..

Khushi: see.. don't laugh like this..it makes feel..

Arnav: confused. Crazy Woman.

Khushi stamped her feet in anger and went away.

Arnav came to stop her, but she had gone away like a storm and before leaving she had caused a tempest in his peaceful mind.

After she had left he noticed something lying on the floor.

Arnav picked it up.

Her anklet.

He went to give it to her..

But the door of her room was already closed.

He came back and put it in his closet.

So this was Khushi's first day at Raizada Mansion..
