Candice Accola on engagement, Nina Dobrev's role

Mrs. Carter: Candice Accola is still celebrating.

Several weeks after first breaking the news to the public that she and her fiance Joseph King (who is the guitarist for The Fray) are engaged, the "Vampire Diaries" actress is finally opening up to the public about what it feels like to be planning this next stage of her life, and also just how thrilled she is that a certain one of her famous co-stars actually helped to ensure that the relationship even happened in the first place.

However, don't take this engagement as a sign that she is really even pondering over the final details of her wedding just yet. Speaking to People Magazine at the Midori's Happy Hour Style Event, here is what the woman otherwise known as Caroline Forbes had to say:

"I can't even think about [the wedding] yet … We're just enjoying the engagement with our friends and family right now."

The two parties met a couple of years ago at a Super Bowl event, and Accola revealed in this interview that it was Nina Dobrev who actually worked to make sure that the two parties started dating:

"I was too chicken to give him my number, so Nina did."

Now, the two have had an opportunity to enjoy the past several weeks engaged before Accola returns to work. "The Vampire Diaries" season 5 production will start next month in Atlanta, and filming is a pretty extensive nine-month process that traditionally runs until April, even if there are some breaks thrown in there.
