Episode 132

The episode begins with akash asking payal if she loves him or not. ArShi are watching this from a distance kind of shocked and confused. Payal is about to leave and akash stops her and bends down on one knee. Now the whole caf is watching them and he proposes to her. He said "Payal ji, I love you so much. And I know as well that you don't dislike me (that's the spirit). I wants to spend the rest of my life with you. Just tell me once that you love me." He offers her his hand and asks "please just tell me that you love me." (kind of sounding desperate there but still sweet). Before payal could answer khushi interrupts saying "jiji?" She asks why did you not tell me about this. Arnav comes up and asked akash how can he think like that, you and her sister. Khushi then responds saying that akash started the talks about marriage and my sister did not respond to it. Paya stops the nok jhok and told khushi that she will handle this. Akash then tells payal that she did not give him an answer. Arnav pushes akash away and tells khushi that akash did not speak about marriage and both sisters need to stop day dreaming. Akash was about to say something and then khushi is like why are you coming between them. Then that wait comes out of no where and ask them table for two couples. What is already pissed shouts at him and said "do you see us as a couple? The waiter is like chai, cold drinks, mineral water, anything and walks away due to arnav's glares (poor guy but he is oblivious to the argument). The conversation continues and arnav said I will not allow my brother to marry your sister. And khushi is like ditto and looks at akash and said don't feel bad but the no is due to "him" aka arnav. She looks at arnav and said my sister can get a lot of guys to marry her. Arnav said then start looking because I don't want my brother become a Halwai. Khushi is like whoa now. Then khushi responds saying that I don't want my sister to be kept under the control of laad governor, the british must have left you behind (more laughs by the audience). Arnav is like excuse me laad governor. And khushi sis like you said halwai explain that. PayAsh watch helplessly. Payal stops khushi and akash stops arnav. Akash tells arnav that the matter is between him and payal and plus payal did not agree yet. Payal said she will never agree, my answer is no and it will remain that way. Akash is like buy I love you (again desperation). Payal is like do you even know anything about me before saying that you love me. Payal tells him that her marriage was once broken and the groom left the mandap. Arnav is like what and looks at khushi. Payal said do you know why my family can to delhi. Akash is shocked and she tells him at arnav knows everything. She was about to tell akash the reason but khushi stops her. Payal said her answer is no. and they sisters leave. Akash is left confused and arnav is guilty because he knows he is the cause of payal's behavior and misfortunes. Khushi turns to see arnav and leaves. (i feel bad or PayAsh, their siblings ego came into the way...but i do like arnav now regretting his decision of not listening to khushi...i think he will rectify his mistakes).

Arnav and Akash are home, and akash asks him about the metting. Arnav said that he will manage over the phone. Akash leaves and arnav is left thinking. Arnav remembers all the things payal said and remembers his first meeting with khushi. He is guilty for his actions and he think "why didn't I listen to her that day. It was because of me that her sister's marriage..." he bangs his hand on the car in regret (uh it was his big fat ego that did not let him listen to her...she was the first person to respond back to him and plus he thought she was out to ruin his show by some other designer)

Khushi calls Anjali and tells her that she cannot come today. Khushi tries to talk to payal but she does not listen to her and asks her to leave her along and not to speak of today's events. She leaves the room. Khushi is confused and speaks about her confusion to DM and asks her to take care of her jiji.

Akash is standing looking out the window all alone and sad. Arnav comes there and akash starts saying his feelings. He said that loves payal and that it is her second time rejecting him. He realized he is ranting to arnav and apologizes and said that he is just feeling *sigh* (I found it odd that akash apologized to arnav for talking his feeings. I guess they are not free with each other and only talk business with each other). Akash asks him how did payal's wedding break since she said he knows about it. Arnav goes blank and akash said let it go because I love her so I don't care. Arnav asks if he is sure about his feelings. Akash is like yes I love her (we got the point). Arnav said he does not know about love but you will be happy living the rest of your life with her and have no regrets later (well I wish someone brought up his relationship with la at that moment). Akash is like yeah. Arnav is like then consider the deal final and walks off fixing to call someone. Akash is like bhai bhol diya but what deal is he talking about.

Khushi is on the phone preparing for ArLa's engagement and arnav calls her. Arnav calls her to meet her to discuss PayAsh. Khushi said my sister said no so the discussion is final. Arnav is like akash is not listening so we have to meet. Khushi denies him and hangs up. Arnav is annoyed now. Khushi sees payal all sad and stuff and then said, did payal really say no.

Payal is putting up her clothes and the dupatta akash gave her fell on her head and she starts crying. Khushi sees this and is upset and worried for her. Payal says that what will happened if she says yes if her fate does not have him in her life. She says to forgive her as she is breaking his heart. Khushi sees all this and gets a flashback when akash told khushi to give the dupatta to payal on her b day and she quietly leaves the place.

Khushi tries calling arnav but his phone is busy and he is calling her but her phone is busy too. Aranv is annoyed and said that she must be talking to her fiance (well that is kind of true because they did get engaged in front of DM already). Then he finally gets khushi's calls and asks her who she was talking to. She said that she was trying to call him only. Then she tells him everything about PayAsh and I guess they decided to meet.

At the restuarunt ArShi meet each other and they waiter is like table for two. Arnav glares at him and he shows them at the table. He pulls out the chair for khushi because she thinks he will sit there but she goes to the other one. Arnav comes again and pulls the chair and khushi said that she wanted to sit there. And he said I know that is why I am pulling your chair. Khushi sits down. The waiter asks them what they want and khushi said she wants chai and aranv said that he wants black coffee. Khushi tells the wait to put no sugar in his (awww) and the waiter said it comes separately. The waiter brings the order and he is pouring khushi the tea. And khushi is like it is black and arnav tells her that the milk comes separately. Then he tells her to make the tea herself. Khushi is like when she have to make tea why do they get money (good point) she is better off eating at a roadside stand. She finds the biskoot and gets happy since it is free (I love how the she opens it with her mouth and arnav is just looking at her). Arnav said that if you are done talking about tea and biskoot be we have important things to discuss. She tells him that he was right about payal liking akash and he tells her he is always right. Then he says they can final the deal'and khushi is like DEAL? Will these two set their differences aside for their siblings????

episode 131

season has certainly changed in ipk, wasn't this man just telling that girl she means nothing to him only last evening? and he was yelling to make sure she got the point... or was it to ensure he got the point... well, someone got the point hopefully. the intensity of it, from episode 124 and "yeh humari sagaai ki angoothi hai" right up to yesterday was simply finishing us off. though i have to say, i loved being killed this way... slow, painful death with just the right amount of extreme asr gussa.

Our sexy boy is a big time bipolar.

but ipk writers have great instincts, they play us beautifully. they take us to deep shaking up sort of emotions, and when they suss we could do with a break, in fact a break is essential, otherwise we wouldn't feel the depth deeply enough, they pull a little string and whoosh the curtain of light frothiness falls and away we go to another world, knowing the other one waits there and we'll be back some day.

Very good point you noticed. It means,they are good creatives. That's why I don't have any grudge on them. Though they cheated us later to pamper their new baby. But still I'm grateful to them to give us IPK, Arshi and awesome pair of Barun-Sanaya.

looks like after that tempest of rage, something was cleansed. and a quietly sliding door opened his highness's dil or dimaag to some basic truth lurking within. the man apologised, though stealth style, and then even as he held his fiance in his arms, looked longingly at the girl leaving the room. once upon a time she had shown her turmoil at the same sight via escaping tear, this time it was his turn to show his uncontrollable feelings, also not formally taken note of.

formally, they belong to other people. but when it comes to a sense of ownership... chame to you.

what i truly appreciate is that our writers are not irresponsible. lightness too is put to great use, both to take story forward, and to expand on that pyaar and its many nuances. rarely have i seen humour so cool yet useful. of course, delivered by actors who seemed to balk at nothing. how they switched from tear making stuff to giggle giving without the intense chemistry between these two beings ever leaving the scene. even rabba ve was not necessary to feel that.

okay, the episode.

akash is wearing his clothes inside out... an ipk way of hinting at lau... remember khushi ji with her other way round kurta? "akash itna blush kyun kar rahe ho.. koi hot date hai ..." why's akash blushing, hot date, huh? la's prattle always makes me grin. when she's not turned into an idiot by writers, she's kinda the closest to "normal" among all. i love the way she calls khushi to do this or that... peremptory yet loving; a girl brought up in a well off family with servants all around... generous of heart because she's always got more than enough... not mean spirited, not too deep maybe, but remarkable in her own way... lots of potential (i remember that phrase from childhood, such a sevennties way of saying it). the only thing missing from her life was love. a man's forever sort of love.

and that she seeks from a man who is more than capable of it, but alas, she doesn't trigger that feeling in him. for that he needs the jhatka of gota, the tadka of "woh santre ka juice nahin mila na," a sprinkling of pompom, a generous dash of "phree biskut," some ramanchi, and other such mysterious things.

"di, chamkili ab tak kyun nahin ayee..." why isn't chamkili here yet, wonders la, again helpfully reminding him of the one that shines and beckons... he remembers her drenched yet composed little voice saying, i know my being here or not makes no difference, "main janta hoon hamare hone ya na hone se..." he needs to get out of the house...

found that reaction interesting... the restlessness, the need to get away.

akash is khoya khoya chand (sorry no translation, or maybe... lost lost moon?)...😆 fixing hair... fretting, nervous. his bro, the imperturbable raizada is wondering what's wrong with his placid sweet akash. a funny scene with a decidedly male what the air.

when asr's "main tumse meeting ke bare mein pooch raha hoon..." i am asking you a question, gets akash's "pata nahi wo kya jawab dengi..." don't know what she'll say... the deal making off to work guy can't take it, thsi daftness, "what are you saying?" and that look, one had to guffaw.

"bhai, meri shirt kaisi lag rahi hai?" bro, how's my shirt?

"mr sharma?" mr sharma, who?

"are you ok?" the look on asr's face.

9.40am attack is on at gh too. payal dithers. khushi talks at cross purpose and a nice sequence in situational comedy style.

it was wonderful to see the gentle love story take off . and in its ambiance, the kya naam doon love story take several steps in the right direction, albeit with attendant yelling screaming laad governoring and khushikumarigupating too. dil dimaag wars came to the fore. and another four letter word got uncensored exposure... deal.

poor akash fumbles desperately over whether the client is "naya" or "nayi."

khushi chases her jiji with batwa, purse. always in ipk people forget things here and there.😆 look what a mess that payal got jhalli into... and what mesmerising madness.

phone and forgotten things, how would ipk have managed without these.

akash buys gift for "client." "payal? payal kiske liye?" anklet for whom, wonders asr. this is too much... now he has to interfere ha ha.

"oh, hero, dekhke chal zara," hey, hero, watch where you go, warns the irate auto driver as asr crosses the road without looking left or right, chasing after akash. echoing laughter from me... yes, hero, you have no idea what you're rushing into.

"o madam paise dijiye!" miss kkg in her rush forgets to pay the auto man.

hero and madam set out on a mission interference. 😆

while snake sets up candlelit black magic.

an episode that speaks of three pairs of lovers really, and shows us many sides of this crazy thing called pyaar.

akash so wants to give his, but the taker is terribly smote by life, afraid to reach out.

anjali is immersed in her feeling to a point she can't see what's what, again life's taken its toll and she wants an escape from reality. hiss knows that and uses precisely this weakness to stay close to his first love... cold hard cash. no wonder then when she asks in that candlelit room, "yeh toh bataiye aaj kaunsa mauka hai jiska hum jashn mana rahe hain..." tell me then, what's the opportunity today that we celebrate, he replies "mauqa toh aap hain, raanisahiba..." the opportunity is you, raanisahiba. has a candlelit room ever felt more obscene, the breath of the beast upon the flames.

then there's hero and madam. who have no idea how much of a faraq they give.

"akash!" he calls out.

"jiji!" says she.

gust of wind.

and a beautiful turn toward each other... first notes of hm hm hm and his nasty little "tum!!" love the contrast in the feeling and the expressed tone of voice. layers again.

interestingly, when they return to the same scene after the break, the music is different. comedy is cued.

the what are you doing here altercation takes off. of course, she is not answerable to him, nor he to her, but who's to tell them that.

i am falling flat at the cuteness of the tycoon. instead of just shutting jhalli up with a scathing look, he is all aggression and fighting away. huh. can't walk away from jhalli, she really gets his goat, teehee. can he hear himself talk?

he becomes jhalla near jhalli.Gosh these two Tom and Jerry can fight a lot.

"mujhe tumhe jawab dene ki koi zaroorat nahin hai... mera jahan dil chahega main wahan jaaoonga, tumhe iss..." i don't need to give you an answer... wherever my heart wants i shall go...

your heart? er, did he mention his heart? my pulse rate is falling.

"chame to you," yells the english major.

"what?" yeah someone had to shut you up.

"same to you," m'lady has found her consonant.

"excuse me, table for two?" enter the hapless waiter. unconscious adder of fuel to fire.

"ji... 2... 2... ek inke liye or ek inke akad ke liye," yes, two two, one for him and one for his stubbornness.

the two, whose date our two are crashing, see each other and ting ting ting... sweet gentle love music in. mad love takes rest.

payal wants to be here yet not be here. akash is so open and generous, she has no idea how to escape. finally, he falls on his knees before her and in front of a restaurant full of people, declares his love...

no guile, no pride, only love. how can anyone deny that? and payal is almost swayed.

but no avail. She is obdurate and very meticulous about her self respect.

when...

hero and madam intrude. loudly and rudely. tch tch, no feel for lau, these two. feeling, khushi ji, feeling (sorry, i know i shouldn't have peeked into 135 and stolen your line, but really, can you see yourself here? and that tone of voice, sigh.)

a 2... 2... cute episode. and did she really say, "chame to you?" or i just misheard the whole thing? whatever.

i agree with asr, this thing is a deal. love between two people. what is it, if not a deal that the heart makes with eyes closed and without heeding caution...? putting all its assets on the line, targeting unlimited, endless gains. if you crack this one right, makes this life... a life. not mere existence. so yes, asr, i understand absolutely what you mean when you say, i think this deal will be good. and much later when he calls her his life's biggest deal, i want to swoon at his tone of voice and the connotation. the ultimate deal maker thinks she is the one, the biggest hottest deal for him. me not complaining.

The ultimate deal maker always is a gainer in making deal. I loved the assimilation. I also swooned another time when he used this word deal. When Khushi told him, "main apko apna pati nahi manti". he said, "manogi daurti huye mere baho mein aogi, deal" Khushi replied "sauda", Uff how sexily he said this words, just makes me crazy.

it was interesting to watch the two, asr and khushi, act protective toward their siblings, turning downright aggressive and obnoxious with each other. and of course, pushing payal and akash to one side, completely out of the date that poor akash had so desperately set up.

It was so funny that they actually imposed their decision on them.

he said he didn't want his bro to be halwai. she said, huh, not keeping my sister under the control of laad governor.

so he discovered she called him laad governor. a spectacular expression was bestowed upon this effrontery by one so irritating and halwai-ish. did he imply being a confectioner is a bad thing? oh, the class conscious raizada, maybe he's just mad at all halwais because he can't gobble sweets.😆 okay, i will not be easy on him about this... he is ughly uppity and unnecessarily derogatory about someone's parent and people of a whole profession.

and how rude was that, "tum dono behene din mein sapne dekhna band karo," stop having absurd dreams, you two sisters. really, brusque, nasty, arrogant... even your good looks right now are not cutting no ice, sir.

why he said you two sis? It means he also thinks Khushi is after him?

payal was fabulous... and gave akash a much needed reality check. yes, you are in love with me and imagine you can't live without me. but what do you know about me? do you know that my baraat went back and i was left at the mandap?

was it on purpose the writers made asr say such hateful things? so that when he realised the truth of the night in sheesh mahal, his reaction is even more of a contrast, making the viewer empathise more keenly? fact is, i know wonderful strong super exciting people who say terrible things at times. it hints at some not too nice notions in their heads, but more often it speaks of how rattled they are about something. and really, asr was completely taken aback to see his bro-like coz with payal... the sis of the girl he is struggling desperately not to let matter. he sort of lost it and his worst side came to the fore.

khushi was no less aggressive and rude. again, because her sis being in a relationship with anyone related to this man, the man she can't hate however mean he may be, bothered her no end.

"aap nahin jaante... lekin yeh... yeh toh sab jaante hain na..." payal was distraught, the pressure of wanting someone but knowing it can't be. she tells him, you didn't know about that night, but he... he knows everything, meaning asr, of course. i am talking about that day when you...

"jiji!" with one quiet but insistent call, khushi stopped her sister from going there. too painful.. for everyone. a beautifully intense and timeless moment set in a scene marked by lightness, youth, the here and now.

as the girls leave, she turns back for an instant, he looks at her... just a little contact where a whole memory sits, pearls scattering. he looks nonplussed, so unlike him. a minute ago he was yelling and calling her names. ah, so human, these two.

then in a drenched voice, "chalo, jiji..." and the girls leave.

it isn't easy being a girl in this world. the thought came over me as i watched the two young women. when you are naturally the second gender, the one at the receiving end, whose aims, ambitions all become secondary to the men in your lives, it's a tough world. a man can walk out on a woman at the mandap, that too for dowry... it doesn't taint him, it taints her. where's the justice in this. yet that is what happens.

he offers to manage the meeting... a feeling for his brother. sweet.

and as he gets out of the car, a look on his face heralding a difficult memory (the look is so perfect, i didn't edit it, just let the cap be). she's falling, running, "please hume ghar jaane dijiye..." i need to go home, otherwise my sister's marriage will break. "toh toot jane do shadi..." then let it break, his cruel answer, not believing a word she said. suspicious of her, certain she'd come there with an ulterior motive. his long held wariness about women surfacing in the worst possible way.. what a night. and what he did to a girl, her family...

pearls scattered.

"maine usski baat kyun nahin suni, woh sach kah rahi thi, meri wajah se unki behen ki shadi..." why didn't i listen to her, she was speaking the truth, because of me her sister's wedding... he slams the car.

a beautifully frenetic payal.. we're not talking about what happened... leave me alone for a while. khushi is perplexed. even talking to dm isn't helping. then the dupatta takes over. akash's gift falls on jiji, and she can't help but hold it and weep, speaking of her helplessness... "humare haan kahne se kya hoga akashji humae naseeb mein aapka pyaar nahin... hume maaf kijiye... hum baar baar aapka dil todne ke liye majboor hain,"

what's the good of my saying, yes. your love is not in my fate... forgive me... i have to deny you time and time again.

khushi watches this whole thing and at last she understands. i guess when she first saw payal and akash, the zing of laad governor was on her, and she didn't make the obvious connection. but now she knows she has to set things right... and the way to do it is to talk to that arrogant...

in a touching scene, asr realises how smitten his coz is. he doesn't like to watch his family suffer... bit of a don, our asr... he must solve the problems his fam faces. and don't mess with his family, if you know what's good for you..

"akash?" just one word... a world of love and concern, the slightest grain and hoarseness in the voice.

"payal ji ne dobara mana kar diya..." payal ji said "no" again, akash is sad, forlorn, lifeless. he says a key thing about love... there is no "wajah" no reason for loving... you just love.

then a difficult question, "jiss din usski shadi tooti... kya hua tha uss din..." the day her marriage broke, what happened. asr won't answe that question but he did ask...

"i'll ask you just once... are you sure of your feelings... dekho yeh pyaar wyaar mujhe samajh nahi ata.." see all this love and things, i don't understand. no he doesn't, because he has decided there's no place for it in his life. if anything, it's an impediment... a thing that leads to terrible things. but again, in his typical liberal way, he's not stopping anyone else from feeling it or wanting it.

my perception is, he didn't find his true love yet that' s why he is telling he doesn't no what is love. When he found his true love in Khushi he couldn't stop himself from loving her. "Itni koshish ki tume nafrat karne ki, lekin, main tumhe nafrat kar hi nahi paya." He tried to ignore his love, but his love for Khushi was so strong that he couldn't ignore it.

in fact, once he's convinced that it is what akash is very sure of and after marrying payal will not regret it, he says with alacrity, "ok then it's done, agar yeh tumhare liye itna important hai... toh main yeh deal final karwake rahoonga," if this is so important to you then i'll make sure the deal is closed.

"lekin, bhai... wo..." but, bhai... akash is floundering. really, akash, there's a limit to being clueless i feel like yelling.

"bas, bol diya na!" now i've said it, that's it.

"bol toh diya lekin... kaunsi deal?" you said it, but what deal, wonders the lost lover.

i need to give an award to the creative who chose khushi's ring tone. it is maddening, irritating, dancey, feels gota covered, unforgettable. what a perfect answer to the brief the director must have given.

hahaha just a reflection of her character.

his call to her leads nowhere, as she is still unaware of jiji's true feelings. but then they both try to call each other at the same time.

he's completely frazzled at not getting through...

"zaroor apne fiance se baat kari hogi," she must be talking to her fiance, he sounds practically jealous. and so what if she is, mister.

"kisse baat kar rahi thi tum..." who were you talking to... the moment she picks up the phone. so cute.

Like a possessive boy friend.

these interactions, the irritated, aware of each other repartee and conversations and fights between the two, these are classic ipk. and their unwittingly overstepping boundaries, always a little further in than their relationship allows them to be, such a fantastic way to portray attraction... a powerful attraction really that doesn't allow you to remain cool in the other's presence... you are always slightly aflame when the other one is there. and you say things you wouldn't to others.

absolutely magical.

and so it is that they go out on their first hot date. they must meet to bring their siblings together. and for the sake of that love, their own private nafrat must be suspended for a while. whatever the excuse, asr and khsuhi are in a restaurant, just the two of them together.

and in all the fun and games that followed again i saw asr fall madly for khushi kumari gupta one more time. bitten badly by the love bug.👏

of course, the cue to craziness came from the chair chase... "aree hum yahan baithne wale hain..." arre, i am about to sit here, yelled she when he again pulled out the chair she went to. "i know tabhi chair pull kar raha hoon..." i know, that's why i am pulling the chair out, replied the suave one as small town girl showed her ignorance, but ever so cutely.

when she said, don't put sugar!, in his coffee, she was told that it woukd be served separate... but he couldn't stop himself from being touched by her concern, nor she hide her awkwardness at blurting it out... always an overstepping of boundaries... that attraction. such tenderness in these moments.

and when she sort of admitted, "aap sahi the..." you were right.


he couldn't let the moment pass. all of asr in his self satisfied know all air, "main kabhi galat nahi hota..." how can a man look so smug and so hot at once. brilliant acting... just plain brilliant. so many ways to deliver that line... how did he choose the right one and the perfect expression to match. urbane, polished, intelligent, just the right amount of arrogance, and a bit of humour... a little bit of a flirt there? just a wee bit, maybe? 👍🏼

"chalo kum se kum ek biskut phree toh mil gaya." oh good, at least got a free biscuit, she said, after fretting over having to fix one's own tea and paying so much.

and somewhere between her biting the pack to tear it open and his eyes moving, his lips turning up at this jhalliness, i believe he fell again in love with her... these were the things that made keema of all his koshish. no amount of trying to get over such a girl was gonna work.

i was feeling embarrassed by Khushi's act. How cum she behaved so carefree in front of a sexy hot, sophisticated man!

i had felt his heart go thud when he found her in his wardrobe, one eye shut, then when she admitted she couldn't find orange juice and so poured mango juice into his shoe, at odd bizarre utterly and only khushi sanka moments i think he really fell in love. of course, her kindness, her innocence, her love of fam, her courage, her beauty, all of what was khushi he loved, but it was at these moments that i think his heart did crazy things.

you are right. she is just his opposite and opposite attracts.

when asr really met khushi. no baggage, no misconceptions, no barriers. just him and her. two people... meant to meet. a man and a woman. a boy and a girl...

perhaps he felt his heart flip, and wanted to move away quickly, so with an amused, adult air, taking back control, he said, "khushi, agar tumhari chai aur biskutt ki important conversation khatam ho gayi ho toh akash aur payal ke baare mein baat kar sakte hain?"

khushi, if your important conversation about tea and biscuit is over shall we talk of akash and payal?

and they spoke of the deal they would help clinch... while the biggest deal of his life got going.

Episode 135

Akash is leaving and Anjali stopping him but he leaves, even mama tries to stop him. Mama says what is all happening in this home. There Khushi tells to make mami understand and ASR leaves for there. Nani also yells at mami that she spoke very rude and mami says that now everyone has problem and she adds that she can't let her son marry Payal, a girl who has nothing. ArShi sees this and Khushi tells him to go soon and she says if he does not remember than she can make faree. Arnav is like what faree, and khushi is like the cheating sheet, he rolls his eyes and walks to the tamasha. Khushi and Arnav comes there and Anjali asks when did Khushi come to which Khushi says that Arnav wanted to say something. Khushi goes behind the family and starts telling him what to say in actions and mami asks him if he is waiting for any muhraat he talks about jodi and he completely forgets it and he glares Khushi. Mami says thats what she is saying that jodis are made up from above and she says that bride and groom needs to be of same status and that's why that miss India is perfect not that Khoon bhari taang . Arnav tries to speak and she tells him to full stop and there is no need to be filmy (she got a point, filmy lines sound weird from him he is more a straight to the point kind of guy). La says that they need to consider Akash's choice also and Anjali also pleads Mami but she does not agree to listen and Arnav walks away from there after glaring Khushi (he is like see your plan failed). Mami just wants a rich family who will give her more gold than she already has.

Khushi follows ASR and she goes behind him at the poolside Khushi tries to speak but Arnav tells her to shut up and he says that he already told that everything all this stupid . Khushi says if he has done this with feelings than it would have been better.

There Mami is like she will not agree and she is Angads leg in Ravan darbaar which can't be moved and now finally mama speaks up and he says that she needs to remember that how sh made an entry in this house and she is also not from big house (I love this man) and she tells him to stop and she says she knows her status there is no need for the recap and she also says that due to her background she did not get acceptance till the date (you can see that nani is hurt by that comment). nani shouts at her and says that she also knows that it's not right and nani tells that she said what she felt and mama ji says that if she has so many problems than why she doesn't just leave this house. He felt bad that Akash left the house due to her.

ASR says that he will handle his ways to which Khushi this is not business deal and he says that practicality money and power is every solution to everything (the business man in him is showing. they both have a point, if the person was like Anjali and payal then yeah talking with feelings makes sense but if you are going to talk to a person like mami ji who loves money then arnav's way works)..

There Mami is running out of the house the the ladies trying to stop her . nani says she is her saas and to which mami says that her saans stopped. Mama says let her go she will come back soon she is doing nautanki (did I mention how awesome he hi). ArShi come to the drama room and is shocked to see what is happening. Anjali and Nani crying becasuse mami left.

Mami is crying and leaving when she sees that no one is coming to stop her and she cries more and Arnav comes and he says that he just want to say one thing that what she is going to do and what will happen later on. He tells her to think practically not emotionally and he tells if she leaves she will lose the society status. If she will leave than only she will lose this deal. He tells her that the family will marry get Akash and Payal with or without her wishes. If she leaves Payal will get her status. And he says that she will be back to where she started. She will lose if she leaves and he says that now decision hers to select which deal. He tells him to think from businessman's POV and to see where she has profit (no wonder he is a good business man).

ASR comes back to RM and Anjali asks for mami and mami comes and she says that she agreed and everyone gets happy and ladies hugs mami. Khushi looks at Arnav like I told you so and he ignores. Mami tells that she accepts PayAsh but the marriage will be according to her (that is a scary thought). Everyone agrees to it. Khushi goes to Arnav and said see you did in that way i told but he said no and he tells her he did in his own way and he knows how to crack a deal and once again he was right and she was wrong and he walks away (think they were tied in the right and wrong arugment). La goes and hugs Khushi and says she is excited that now Khushi will come daily and Anjali says that now they will be relatives. Khushi says she will tell Payal but Anjali tells that no as its not good because the auspicious day is tomorrow. Khushi goes and thanx mami and she leaves saying how will she keep this from payal.

Akash comes back and he asks Anjali why did she called him and Anjali says that now nani has problem with this relationship and La and Lakshmi have a problem with this relationship and Akash gets frustrated and he leaves from there and Anjali stops him. Nani says that when mami can agree to this relationship then they can't joke with him and he leaves from there made but when he understand it he comes back and goes to mami and thanks her (she did not do you out of her son's happiness she did this for her benefit, too bad they don't know this).Anjali says not to be so happy as ladki wala people have not selected him and mami says that they can't reject him because they have no class.Akash is like why tomorrow they should go now and Anjali says that they will go tomorrow only. nani tells Anjali to call Shyam and she says that she will call him in the morning because it is too late now. Will Anjali see shyam at the gupta's house tomorrow???

Episode 138

Everyone is sitting on/around Shashi's bed. Khushi and Bua ji are talking about Payal's engagement. Garima thanks God for the good rishta Payal has got. Khushi teases Payal about Akash. Bua ji wonders where Shyam has disappeared to again (she should be used to that by now). She and Garima leave for the kitchen. Khushi asks Shashi if he is happy but Shashi looks worried. Khushi thinks he is worried because the people are rich. She says they are good people like Anjali ji. But Shashi gets agitated and the two sisters get worried, he is trying to say shyam and the sister are trying to figure out what he is saying. He takes off Khushi's engagement ring and throws it away leaving Payal and Khushi shocked/confused (get the hint). He tries saying something but before they can understand anything, Shyam comes and sees the ring on the floor. He gives it back to Khushi and asks what's wrong. Shashi looks at him furiously. Khushi tries calming Shashi down. She also asks Shyam where he had disappeared to in the afternoon. Shyam brushes it off and asks for some sweets since PayAsh are getting engaged. Khushi asks Shyam how he knows (yay her brain is working). Shyam is like oh snap she is a smart cookie and said that Bua ji told him when he came in. Just then, Bua ji calls Khushi and Payal to help them in the kitchen. Shashi is left alone with Shyam (why do they do that all the time). Shyam congratulates him and says his brother-in-law fell for his other daughter. Things have now become complicated but he likes it like that because it is more fun. He tells shashi shouldn't get this tense since both his daughters' lives are in his hands. He said that he won't harm Khushi if Shashi keeps quiet (shyam is a despicable person, how long will DM save him). In the kitchen, Khushi tells Bua ji they need another plate for Shyam. Bua ji asks when he came back? Khushi is shocked because Shyam had told her he'd already met Bua ji (yay she is thinking). While setting the table, Shyam comes in talking to Rani Sahiba and bumps into khushi and walks away leaving Khushi even more confused.

On the phone, Anjali says she will not listen to any excuse and tell the judge to give the verdict now since RS is giving the order. Shyam has to come for the pooja now because there is no way out of it. Anjali tells La and Nani that Shyam is coming tomorrow morning and they discuss about the other preparations. Anjali is worried about the preparations and Shyam tries calming her down (when did he get there?). La also tells Arnav that he has to sit with her in the puja arnav is like that is not my cup of chai. She sees Anjali and arnav shrugs his shoulder like oh well. She complains to Anjali that Arnav isn't listening to her to sit with her during the puja. Anjali tells her that only married couples have to sit so they have to wait but when time comes, they'll think of something for another pooja using khushi's method. Arnav is amused by this. Then Anjali remembered that she has to call Khushi. Anjali calls her and asks Khushi if she is coming since she is a part of the hous now. She said that her whole family should also come and also bring her fiance. Both Khushi is kind of not wanting to bring him and she does not think of shyam like that and Arnav get annoyed and leaves, la also follows him since he did not pick out her sari like he was asked to.

Akash tells Shyam that Nani is calling him. Shyam congratulates Akash and pulls his leg a bit. He asks if his would-be wife is coming. Akash says no one from her house is coming because di said it is a pooja for their family only. Shyam says he would've loved to meet them (I bet he would). Shyam gets relieved as it is confirmed that the Guptas aren't coming (too bad he does not know khushi is coming).

Khushi tells that Payal, Bua ji and Garima have gone for shopping to Anjali on the phone. Anjali insists that at least she should come and Khushi gives in. Just then Shyam calls Anjali and Khushi is shocked to hear 'Rani Sahiba'. Anjali hangs up quickly. Khushi on the other line is like where have I heard Rani Sahiba before and goes into thinking mode again (I am loving this).

Khushi is lost somewhere as La is talking to her. She asks her about her fiance and probably thinks that is why khushi is lost.

Shyam is calming Anjali down because she is doing to much work and says she has kept a fast. He reassures her that everything will be fine. Anjali says with him around, everything will be fine (I want to puke at their so called "love", it is diabetically sweet and fake).

Puja is about to begin and La requests Khushi to call Arnav (khushi gets tense, she is like great I have to see him again, she does not like the arguments they get into) and Akash to call di and jija ji. Khushi switches the duties with Akash. She walks along remembering all the "Rani Sahiba" memories she has. Shyam is still not fully ready because he lost a shoe so he asks Anjali to go ahead. Khushi is about to knock the door when Anjali comes out and says Shyam is looking for his shoes. She leaves telling him to hurry. Khushi contemplates going inside the room. She opens the door and sees Shyam searching for his shoes but of course his back towards her. Khushi is wondering why she feels that Anjali's husband is her Shyam, not her's in that sense. (you are absolutely right). She unknowingly walks in Arnav's room and is very lost and confused (I love how everytime she is confused she ends up infront of his room, it is like she needs his advice and he is the only person she can really trust, she tells him everything unknowingly). Arnav asks if she needs something. Khushi shakes her head in a no and leaves. Arnav shrugs the incident off and said unbelievable.

La wants to show Khushi her earrings and necklace off because it is the one arnav "chose" for her but realizes one earring is missing. They start searching for it and at that time Shyam walks down the stairs. He approaches the puja area and Nani announces his arrival but Khushi is too busy looking for the earring to notice his arrival. By the time she finds it, Shyam takes his seat with his back facing her (this episode already had two hit and miss, I can't take anymore). The puja starts and Khushi tries to see Anjali's husband's face while recalling the two 'Rani Sahiba' incidents. Will khushi find out Shyam is Anjali's husband??? Will she find out who Rani Sahiba is????
