bua's husband's sis's children r not related 2 bua's bro's children. in reality also in arranged marriages such alliances occur & i'd seen myself.even one of my cousin sis( my masi's daughter) 's proposal was send 2 my oder cousin(my bua's son) but due 2 sum oder reasons & my cousin sis's denial it didn't happen.

i have observed many such things in hindi soaps...but actually according to south tradition (i am sure of andhra i donno abt rest) dey are like bro n sis...n cant be paired up...in North india ppl address mama or bua's sons as "bhaiyya" but it make a diff relation in Andhra...pairin can be done wid mama/bua's daughter or son...where as son/daughter of mausi/chacha are reffered as brother/sisters..
@bold so true & i agree wid u!!in my family direct cousins have also married execept that a man's child cannot marry with his brother's child and woman's child cannot marry with her sister's child.
brother's son/daughter and sister's daughter/son also marry in my family.im also from south i.e Karnataka and in my state its allowed. i ve no idea about andhra but here its allowed. plz dont spread wrong news that its not allowed in south.and then kanha surbhi are not even direct cousins.kanha is avinash's sister's son.surbhi is aviansh's wife's brother's daughter.in my family even avinash's own daughter(if he had one) and kanha could marry😆
i know in south marriage btn mama & bua's kids r allowed bcoz one of my fnrd from tamilnadu also told me abt this & i'd seen a hindi show which was based in Kerala where it was shown that mama& bua's kids r allowed 2 marry.i agree with you tiny it depends on the community and region but the reason why i posted here is bcoz TM said that its not allowed in "SOUTH". so i thought of clarifying that in my state its allowed.
