Congratulations to Team ChhanChhan.
Sony and Optimystix – Thank you for bringing this show on TV. Selecting Sanaya Irani to play the role of Chhanchhan was a brilliant choice.
What I like about the show is that it has depicted the story so far as realistic to reality as a show possibly can. The two families, one a liberal "Modern" family and the other a conservative "Orthodox" family are a reality today. I personally know people who fall into both of those categories.
The cast of both the families is well selected. They all do great justice to the character they portray.
The tracks are well balanced…they show just the right amount of interaction and presence of characters. The story is light hearted, no overly nonsensical characterization, just the right amount of funny, gray and romantic moments.
Low key wedding; loved the message it conveyed.
The portrayal of newly wed romance was beautifully executed. Chhanchhan waking up to a new reality as a married woman, facing the in-laws, not knowing the "realities" in her new household, the despair….only Sanaya could show that.
I sincerely hope Sony and Optimystix utilize Sanaya's talent to the max. Chhanchhan is a character that has a youthful depth and strength that is now a married woman with a worthy "opponent" out to crush her. In this battle of different ideologies, I am hoping Chhanchhan grows stronger and does not loose her identity.
The 50th episode is the perfect timing to start the crux of the story that depicts the strengths of the two opposing forces. I will sit back and enjoy the show.
Sanaya Irani – Brilliant actor. Very impressed that she chose Chhanchhan. She will do it great justice.
Supriya Pathak – She is very good as Umaben.
BTW, I am an international watcher, not into Indian TV, don't know Hindi, end up with a dinner guest(s) most of the time who translates for me and I depend on the written updates by other fans. I do all this just to watch Sanaya. To this date I have no interest in watching any other Indian serial.
