I remember how the showed it in JJMD, the little that I saw. Incidentally, did his slaying happen b4 or after Mahishashur's? In JJMD, they at least seemed to connect the story, what w/ Kalnemi and all, but here, will it be a one off episode? Also, was that Kalnemi the same as Vrinda's Kalnemi? If so, they could use Kalnemi to talk to Durgam to exact revenge on... shrushti 😈

Vrish,

JJMD's war was good. May be Durgam happened after Mahishasura. After killing Shumbh, Nishumbh. on Deva's praye,( DSS's 11th Adhyaya), Devi mentions, after taking Shakambhari form, she will appear again to kill Durgam in the same avatar, will be known as Durga,
