So after Sony , Color another bigger channel also is pulling off TAM.. bye bye TRP now ..

With this, the total number of channels pulling out of TAM has reached 31.(Many channels withdrew their TAM subscription)

So I can happily watch my show without any tension or headache every week..

I am happy that its not only sony but colors also joined in this decision..

Either TAM will revamp the whole system .. or TRPs wont effect any good show any more ( like the earlier years ) 😊

So folks, Bindaas Raho ..

I could tell this because I could not sit through 20 mins to watch the TRP topper show in the same time of CC.. 😃

Wow this is big, but I think channels will have some method of evaluating which show is doing well and which is not. This kind of information is needed for sponsors as well as to keep or scrap a show. Whatever comes in place of current TAM system hope is much more representative of viewership.

I am happy that colors also joined .. as It has many big shows stiil it decided .. So I guess if any show can garner general good opinion and acceptance ads will come .. for SI and CC , Sony will get I hope ..

(although I dont have any idea 😆)

Yeah as hoping so, thisis good news, hopefully ths will bring stipulated time seasonal shows and better story shows

Viacom 18(Colors) has confirmed the withdrawal of their subscription from the television viewership rating agency.

Viacom 18 is part of Network18 group that run 14 channels as TAM subscribers including Colors, Colors HD, MTV, Vh1, Comedy Central, Nick, Sonic, CNBC TV18, CNBC Awaaz, CNN-IBN, IBN7, Home-shop 18, and History TV18.

Few weeks before,Mastii, Dabang and Dhamaal pulled out their subscription from TAM data. With this, the total number of channels pulling out of TAM has reached 31.(Many channels withdrew their TAM subscription)

So TRP is finally bidding goodbye…..

CC is the only Indian show I watch, and I am international viewer..so doesn't matter...but I am sure it's a welcome thing for many.

So happy about this. Finally, no more battles over TRPs, no headaches every week! I hope they come up with a more fair way of calculating these. I'm sure they'll do something as they need to see which show is doing well and which needs to be scrapped.

if colors' shows out of equation then the competition will be really lame ..

So I dont know what the TAM will do abt this ..

I dont know now how they will count .. but i guess channels want only money through sponsors and their goodwill... so hopefully good shows will rock..
