When it finally seemed like Sandhya would be able to fulfill her dream, the events turned out to be such that she has moved further away from her dreams.
While Sandhya was trying to find the culprit who left Sooraj's mithai shop open, she came across Emily's wedding video, which made her realize that her family is not too happy about her dream. Sandhya saw that Bhabho purposely fed her the alcohol chocolates so that she could not sit for her examinations.
Although Sandhya did not leave the mithai shop open, she took it upon herself so that the matkascould be broken, and she could move further away from her dream.
Sandhya says, "My family does not want that I study more and become an IPS officer. So I don't want to do anything that will make them unhappy. I know that Soorajji has supported me a lot, and it would hurt him more to see my dream being broken, but I don't have an option since Bhabho does not want me to study further."
