Once bitten,twice shy...Hrithik's choices just corroborate that adage....

Hrithik DID work with Arjun Sablok and Khalid Mohammad,but that was when his career had just begun,and he didnt have an inkling of the forthcoming nightmarish phase(where every film of his flopped)..Regarding Zoya's film(wait a minute,I think I read it was shelved 😕??hopefully it is,as it seems so lame 🤢 ),it would most probably be ghost directed by Farhan,and its clear Farhan would have a huge part to play..Now,Hrithik's is just being extra cautious employing alot of circumspection while chosing scripts,and does insurance movies with big banners/successful directors/Filmcraft,which have a huge likelihood of working well...Hrithik's harping that its the script that matters is strange,as in that case,why did he refuse RDB,which had one hell of a script!He refused so many movies which ended up being blockbusters/critically acclaimed(Bunty aur Babli,Hum Tum,Yuva,Rang De Basanti)..Hah,Had only he done these movies,and all been hits...He would have surely taken the position of a superstar after AB


Hopeful his movies with Adlabs repudiate this notion that he works only with illustrious banners/distinguished directors.....


Abhi does alot more movies compared to Hrithik,and Abhishek doesnt necessarily stick to big banners,he does a movie with Yashraj,as well one with Goldie Behl who is relatively new...ABhi is seriously becomming a big time charity actor,doing movies for his friends,which would certainly prove deletarious to his career(if Umrao Jaan wasnt enough).....He has alot of hoped pinned on Guru,and I unprejudicedly say,the promos are ROCKING!!....Yes,it is a dicey proposition,but I'm happy Abhi is willing to take risks😃 and do good movies with avant garde directors rather than just stick to formulaic Yashraj cinema....I sincerely hope the audience lap upto GOOD cinema,they way they lapped upto RDB ,and if AB's Trishul(another movie based on AB's rising the corporate lader and waged vendetta on Sanjeev KApoor and Shashi Kapoor) worked,no reason why Abhi's Guru shouldnt work..Agreed Abhi is nowhere close to his iconic dad,but still he has carved a niche for himself,and if the movie is indeed good,and portrays Abhi as larger than life,I dont see why it should flop,afterall,the movie DOES have typical potboiler elements like an item song,good music,a decent script etc!...Guess its my wishful thinking,But this is one movie that I'm eagerly looking forward to...

oh even I'm prayin Zoya's film is shelved....I would lvoe Hrithik to do a film like Fiza again though---it was by far his best performance to date!

I'm glad Hrithik didnt do BnB----tht film wasnt good enuf to be worth of Hrithik anyway! Hum Tum didnt wasnt tht gr8 as well....BnB and HT were just OKAY movies....he refused RDB coz he was workign at Krrish at tht time and didnt want 2 films at a time and also coz he wanted to do DJ's role not Karan's. Apparently, Aamir was desperate to have Hrithik in RDB and I personalyl would've loved him to be a part of the movie but with aamir around there's always the danger of being overshadowed and Aamir has a reputation of hoggi nthe limelight n ghost directing anyway.

But what pisses me off is Hrithik refusing Yuva....Hrithik's refusal of Yuva MADE Abhi an what he is today....if only hrithik had done Abhi's role. If there's 1 thing Abhi should thank for saving his career then it's Hrithik's stupid decision of refusing YUva!

YAY! Go John...i think the journalist is right...John simply looks at the script and had even signed some movies which had no producer...e.g. kabul express...yes....i totally agree with the writer..no actor has the intelligence to imagine a film before its made except John and Aamir. 😳...and what is hrithik talking about....John has been signed as the official lead of "NO SMOKING".....so what is he upto?😊(i am not attacking anyone, just asking politely)

and AS for RDB, no one can do it better than Aamir Khan as he simply was the perfect person to play such kinda role and was the only one to deliver something like Lagaan 😊

Hrithik was offered Siddharth's role (the character named Karan) in RDB not Aamir's role.

I was readin this article again......how can anurag kashap put john n aamir on the same pedestal and say only these two have the 'intelligence' to foresee a movie? OK, agreed aamir does have tht vision but what special thing or cinematic brilliance did John forsee in KE or Baabul or Kaal! John hasnt even delivered a blockbuster to date...his biggest hit has been Dhoom and tht too coz he can ride a bike....

John's a nice guy n very good looking but WTH does Anurag Kashyap think he's sayin when stating tht John has the vision to understand a solid script lik Aamir does? He's just praising John coz John agreed to act in 'No Smoking'.

And anyway, if Hrithik only works with successful directors then he would've pounced on swades which Ashu offered Hrithik straight after Lagaan---but hrithik didnt take Swades......and he's now working wit Ashu for JA, after Swades didnt deliver in the BO.

It does need to be closed because of a simple reason: None of you will ever stop bashing members when they do not agree with you.
