oh good, i thought for a sec you read the statement wrong. everyone contributed and i am thankful to each one for that, but when rumours like this fly around, it's irking. just watched the necklace and red lehenga scenes... both lalit m and arshad khan listed as directors... gorgeous scenes. there was so much talent everywhere. despite small budgets, and resulting tackiness, plus all the demands of a daily soap and its many compromises, also the corny element that is staple in all serials, they managed to get to the heart of something and explore it so magnificently, that one just had to look and feel and get hooked.

once a thing goes it rarely comes back, but just in case, sense returns, a yearning comes back, and ipk goes into another season, with the original team... i'll believe in the power of vishwaas.

Payal's Rejection

Par sweekar nahin kiya, samaaj ki khatir

Phir bhi sabke saamne aapka haath maanga

Phir se inkaar kiya, mere pyaar mein rangna

Kyun beech mein aagayi samaaj ki ye deewar?

Kyun isey itna chubhta hai mera pyaar?

Ek baar samaaj ki iss deewar ko hatakar dekhti

Kya kehti tab bhi, aap mujhe pasand nahin karti?

Kaash main ameer nahin, gareeb hota

To aaj main aapke kareeb hota

Mere ohdey ki sazaa mujhko hai mili

Sab kuch hai magar, mere haath hain khaali

Translation:

I presented my heart decorating it in flowers

But didn't accept because of the society

Even then, in front of everybody, asked for your hand

Again refused to get coloured by my love

Why did this wall of society come in between?

Why does it feel pricked by my love?

Once if you removed this wall of society and saw

Would you say even then, that you didn't like me?

Wish I wasn't rich, but was poor

Then I would have been close to you

I have been sentenced for my status

Everything is there, but my hands are empty

gave it thought... i am still enjoying writing for every episode... will continue to do so. i know posts are long, i don't expect everyone to read everything... this is something i do as much for my enjoyment as yours. you choose the episodes you'd like to read and have fun. i seriously don't mind if you don't read.
