It seemed quite a while, Maan was tossing on the couch, trying hard to sleep while sleep was no where to engulf him given he was never used to sleep on the couch. On the other hand, Geet was trying her best to drift to sleep as well, but failing too. It seemed sleep was out reluctant to come along the air and engulf the duo trying hard to beckon it. Sighing, Geet got up from the bed and walked towards the window. Standing at the window, she let the cool breeze sweep he face sending chills down her body. Aimlessly, she wandered around the room often glancing towards Maan and sighed looking at how peacefully he was asleep.

"How can he sleep so peacefully.? " she cribbed.

"Jhali.! It's his room, obviously he will be sleeping peacefully. Ur the new on here" she mentally chided. Maan all along was following her actions and blabbering, finding it amusing at times, still it irritated him that neither she was sleeping peacefully nor,letting him sleep, unknowingly. Geet paced along the room, constantly cribbing to her Babaji about how she misses her home , not watching where she was heading and ended up bumping into the table causing a loud noise in the room.

" Issshhh.!! Geet..what are you doing.?? You have to look where you are walking too along with the cribbing.. If he wakes up, he will eat me up." She scolded herself for her recklessness, glancing at Maan. To her relief, he didnt show any movement so she assumed he was deep in sleep. Unknown to her, Maan was getting irritated with the disturbance in the room, not letting him take a peaceful sleep. Another noise by her, and his patience would snap. He closed his eyes tightly, preventing himself from lashing out. Geet quietly retook her place and started humming to herself. It was after a while, she noticed something shining on the shelf in room, slowly getting off she tiptoed to the attractive object which turned out to be a glowing idol. She sighed at her silliness and kept the idol back, not realizing she left it in the air. The statue came crashing to the ground, making a shrill noise. Geet smacked her forehead chiding her foolishness, and to add to her misery the lights in the room flicked on, she casted her eyes towards the couch only to find a fuming Maan, glaring at her.

" GEET.! May I know..what are you upto roaming around the room like a ghost at this hour.?? There is something called sleeping which is what is done at this time.! " he said with sarcasm oozing out of his tone. She narrowed her eyes at his snide comment.

" WHAT.?? U called me a ghost.?? Well, I know what is to be done at this hour, but for your information I am not sleepy and that's the reason I am roaming around the room like a ghost " she stressed at the last word, giving him the taste of his own medicine.

" Well then Geet, as far as I know there is no rule stating that you don't let there's sleep too, if you are unable to. If I am not mistaken, I am in this room too and you are DISTURBING.MY.SLEEP. " he said with gritted teeth, making Geet gulp down her saliva.

"Um...I...a..a...am...Okay.! I won't make noises anymore.! You sleep as much as you want.! " she said stammering and then hissing at him. She turned her back to him, and settled herself in the middle of the fluffy bed. She loved the feeling of the bed, and started bouncing on it, not noticing that someone was watching her intently. After a few seconds, she heard a chuckle and stopped immediately and her gaze stopped on Maan who was smiling.

"Why are you laughing.?? I am bored.! " she made a small baby face. Maan just shook his head, smiling and lay down on the couch trying to find his lost sleep. Looking at him, all mocking her she pouted and had another round of complaints to her Babaji. After repeated efforts of trying to sleep, she failed and sat up again in the middle of bed. Instantly, she knew she couldn't sleep and he was her only hope; someone to talk to. She got off the bed again, stealthily walked up to the couch and watched him sleep for a minute or tow. Finally taking a deep breath, she poked his arm with her finger.

" Maan.??? Maan listen na...I can't sleep.! How are you sleeping so peacefully.?? " she complained the nth time. Ignoring her constant rant, Maan was trying to sleep ; totally worn out as he was. Geet's cribbing was getting on his nerves. Losing the last string of patience, he sat up with a jerk making Geet step back in fear.

" Ughhh.! Geet what is it.??? You want me to help you sleep right.!! What am I to do..? Sing you a lullaby.? " he asked totally irritated with her. His mind came up with some naughty ideas to irk her off as she was hell bent upon irking him off, finally succeeding.

" Or wait..should I come sleep with you.?? " he asked naughtily, to which Geet's head snapped up and she looked at him do dumbfounded with his shamelessness.. He smirked looking at her face and took his chance.

Ahh.!! Is that what you want.?? " he asked with a naughty glint in his eyes, raising up and advancing towards her.

" Excuse me.?? I am not a baby that you sing me a lullaby.! And what did you say.?? Sleep with me.!? Yuck.! You have got to be kidding me Maan.! " she asked in horror and laughing at him.

" Well you wanted it right.? Then be it.. " he said, grabbing Geet and taking her towards the bed. The next thing Geet knew was, she was being dragged towards the bed. She became numb thinking as to what's up with Maan.? All her attempts to free herself were going futile, loosing all hopes, she jerked her hand harshly from Maans hand freeing it and kicked him hard on his butt. Totally shaken up with the blow on his butt, Maan landed on the bed on his stomach. His mouth hanged open as to what just happened, he was shocked to his wits, MAAN SINGH KHURANA WAS KICKED.!

" GEET.!!!!! How dare you kick me..???? You...You are so dead now.! " he said, trying to grab her. Geet ran around the whole room, with Maan chasing her making a mess out of the room, throwing things around. She climbed on the bed, throwing pillows and the rest of the things at him which he coolly dodged. Soon she ran out of things to be thrown, that's when she realized Maan was the one having all her so called weapons. She looked at him, that instant she knew what was running in his devilish mind.

" Thanks for all the things Geet.! Now your turn" he announced and threw a pillow at her, which came and hit her directly in the face, due to her lack of concentration as she was too taken aback at her foolishness. She wobbled as the pillow hit her, before she could react another one came along. He showered her with soft pillows and grinned at her annoyed face. She stomped her foot on the bed, got off it and stormed towards him. He ran and ran around the whole room, while she was chasing him. Exhausted, she settled on the bed, while he stood grinning at his victory. She felt like kicking his face to wipe that victorious smirk off, that's when she realized she still had her soft weapons. Slowly, without hinting her intentions she slid her hand back towards the back of the bed, grabbed a pillow and got ready to execute her plan. She swiftly, threw the pillow at him, which landed right on his face with force, finally wiping off that smirk, changing it into sheer anger . She eyed him, sensing his reaction and her call to death, she dashed towards the open bathroom and shut the door tightly, leaning on it to avoid his revenge. Maan recovered from the sudden attack a bit late, by then she already was in the washroom. She banged the door of the washroom with his fist.

" Geet.! COME OUT.! " he sneered. Geet giggled in the washroom at his helplessness.

" Yeah right..! So that you can hit me with some more pillows. Forget it. " she sneered back.

"All right then.! So that means you are going to stay in there forever." he asked incredulously, knowing what she will say. Confused, Geet started wondering what that meant. She finally concluded that Maan has lost it.

" Maan.! I think you need help. I am the one inside. How can I not come outside.?? I can come whenever I wish to. " she replied back with pride, unknown to the bomb soon going to be dropped on her.

" You think.?! Try it then." He said laughing and locking the bathroom from outside. In her hurry Geet failed to notice that the door could be locked from outside too and the fact that she was dealing THE MSK.

"Seriously Maan.! You are insane. " she said holding the door, ready to open it. She unbolted the door and pulled on the handle, but to her utter shock it didn't budge. Anger ran through her, imagining Maan's smirk right behind the door. She kept trying but to disappointment; the door remained unchanged. Maan could feel her all flustered and cursing everything. He chuckled, imagining her cursing him and the poor door..and oh yes..complaining to her Babaji.!

"What's wrong Geet.?? The door isn't opening right.?? " he said laughing, adding feul to the fire. She smacked her forehead for trying to win from the devil, but she wasn't going to give up.

"What did you do to the door Maan.?? I know it's all your doing.? Leave the door Maan.! Otherwise why will it not open from inside.?? " she asked cursing him under her breath.

" Come on Geet.! The last thing I would do is, holding on to the washroom door." He smirked . " Well all I did was lock the door from outside " he added making her jaw fall to the ground.

" Well smart people check for both the locks, Geet.! " he said mocking her. She cursed him endlessly and kept hurling at her Babaji for being unfair to her. Finding no other option, out of her foolishness, she ultimately had to ask the devil.

" Maan..Open the door.! I swear this is not funny.! " She said with a puffed face, irritated with the childish games both were engaged in.

" First ..you apologize to me for the kick .! I will open the door " he said arrogantly, himself not pleased with the turn of events.

" Apologize.?? To you.! My foot.! Why on earth am I to apologize to you.?? You are the one responsible for all this, you were dragging me to the bed. " she sneered.

" Fine then.! Enjoy your stay in my washroom." he said with a smirk, completely aware of whats coming next but to his surprise something else happened. Geet got frustrated with his devilish tricks but she was no less. She sat on the edge of the bathtub and thought for a moment, debating her own thoughts on how to defeat the devil and she grinned with the idea that just popped up in her brain. She filled the bathtub with water, emptied all the contents she could find on the shelf of washroom into the tub, settled on the edge of the bathtub, grinning to her intelligence. Gathering all her courage, to face the consequences she screamed at the top of her lungs.

" AHHH.!! " she screamed, shocking Maan.

" Geet.?? Geet.?? Are you all right.?? DAMN IT.!! What have you done now.?? Wait I'm coming" he spoke worriedly at the other end of the door, and within seconds the door flew open, and Maan was next to her with a scared face. Geet for a feeble second regretted her prank, but remembering the torture she came back to her senses and with one push of hers, Maan splashed into the bathtub, full of soap water and bubbles and whatnot least expecting her move.

Geet stuck out her tongue to him, and ran out of the washroom while locking the door behind. Once out, she giggled her heart out, unknown to the danger she got herself into, because her giggles were adding to someones burning anger.

" GEET.!!!!! YOU.WILL.PAY.FOR.THIS." Maan said from the washroom, chocking her giggles in her throat itself. Geet turned around, only to the see the washroom door bucking from it position. She froze instantly, fearing what Maan will do to her; regretting her idea of throwing him into the tub.
