He removed his jacket and held it over her head .. she couldn't do anything but just stare at him like that…she looked at him..by the time he was soaked in rain… the thin shirt he wore had glued to his body being drenched in rain.. he was drained fully and he was holding the coat above her to shelter her from rain!!!.. she didn't know how it happened but she tip toed slightly and caught hold of the coat which he was holding above her and then leaned forward towards him… he didnt understand what she was doing…he could just see her eyes and nothing else and he didn't want to see anything else too….. she moved forward closer to him and leaned a little and moved the coat above his head leaning onto his shoulders.. he too rested his hands which were holding the other end of the coat onto her shoulders..together they stood clinging onto each other under the same coat… their eyes spoke volumes to each other but they stood silent …. Around them the rain poured heavily.. water gushed between their feets …. Yet they stood unknown to what was going on around them ….lost in each others eyes…sheltering each other …
He couldn't take his eyes off her …water trickled down slowly from her head down her face .. his chocolate brown eyeballs followed the path of the water droplets as they passed kissing her forehead then her nose rail then her lips down her chin to her neck….. unknown to himself , he rested the coat on her shoulder's and raised his palms slowly towards her face… with his left hand he side cupped her left cheek… his touch send vibes down her spine …she quivered a little with his sudden touch …her eyes were still stuck at his eyeballs while he was noticing the drops that dripped down her forehead … might not be with his self consciousness , but he raised his right palm slowly towards her forehead .. with the four fingers excluding his thumb , he wiped off the water droplets slowly.. his fingers were ice cold ,she felt a current flow through her body and in effect she closed her eyes slowly… it all felt magical to him…the way she quivered all off a sudden , way she closed her eyes when he wiped the water droplets …. The magical aura had taken him away from his normal mindset ….physical attraction , it can be called but still there was something magical…unknown to him , his fingers ran over her face, wiping the water droplets slowly…..it trailed its way down her forehead to her closed eye lids.. did she clutch his shoulder a little tightly now??.. his fingers followed the water droplets down to her cheeks .. he wiped them away slowly… he noticed the pink blush on her soft cheeks , the way she quivered with his every single touch… she clutched him a little more tightly now…and it send a current down his spine too … his eyes were stuck at her pink lips.. he wanted to touch them .. slowly he moved his fingers towards her lips..the fourth finger of his right palm made its touch first and then the 2nd she clinged even closer to him, clutching him tightly….the two were lost in some unknown magnetic aura when his phone started beeping..he didn't hear it but she did and was pulled out of the unknown aura she was in… she opened her eyes all off a sudden..thats when she realized it all .. she took a step back immediately and he felt like someone snatching something dear from him.. he was out of the aura now .. he heard the phone beeping , he looked at her .. she was looking at either sides nervously .. the two of them were under the same coat still.. he took his phone out from his pants pocket
" saab, mein airport ke bahar hoon"the driver said from the other end
"oh ha , Ram Singh , tum gaadi leke parking ke pass aa jao" Rey replied and cut the call
He looked upto her " voh " he started to say when she replied " ji , chalte hain , parking ke pass" .. she relied , first looking at him and then looking down on either sides..
" ok" and he made a step forward without realizing they were standing opposite to each other but she immediately took a step back ward .. both raised their heads to look upto each other and get caught in an awkward eye lock, but the next second they both looked down ..
"hold the coat above your head " he said and she followed his rules .. now both were under the same coat , holding it above their head .. they moved slowly towards the parking ..
The driver was ready with the car ..he opened the back door and both entered in…
The vehicle moved forward… although the window glasses were up , it was still chilling ..she was looking towards her right towards the window .. water dripped down the glass window making the outside scenery blur .. but it gives a different beauty seeing the outside scenery blur through water dripping glass window of a moving vehicle.. she was enjoying it looking outside ..while he was texting someone with his tab.. he completed his work and kept his palm down… he felt like keeping his palm over ice .. but he wondered, can ice be this soft ??…within a split second he realized he had kept his palm over her's..
While with her she felt an instant warmth and in the next fraction of a second realized it was his touch …
The next second .. both looked at each other again to be in an awkward eye lock…she moved her hand from under his palm nervously and nervously shifted her look back towards the window… he too turned to his right and looked out …
Soon the car stopped in the porch of a huge guest house …
"saab , hum pahaunch gaye " the driver said turning back
" huhh.. ha ok.." he said and opened the door and moved out .. she too opened the other door and got out .. she was caught in the beauty of the guest house .. it looked so elegant , being bathed in the fog ..…outside she could see a very beautiful garden .. well kept… the plants looked bathed in the rain and fog and the flowers seemed like blushing with more beauty having been kissed by the raindrops…the sky was still dark blue … and the light post in the garden made the water drops on the flowers to sparkle…. She was looking all around in amusement from the porch.. the place felt like a paradise .. it was soo soo beautiful
" malkin…" she heard a call from behind and she turned back .. a couple , a man aged 50's and a lady aged 40's stood smiling behind her, folding their hands… their dress and their posture and their call made her realize they were maids here .. the persons who were give the responsibility to look after the Singhania guest house , here in manali.
She smiled back at the couple
"baba toh bahuriya ke roop mein heera laye hain … hai na.. hayee kitni sundar chori hai !!" the lady leaned to her man's ears and whispered in his ears
Taani looked amused at the lady's behavior … she wondered what she was saying with her smile ..she could see the man nodding and whispering something back in his lady's ear.. she smiled at them and ascended the steps of the porch towards the main door …
She entered in … a luxurious guest house … she looked around… her eyes were searching for him
" malkin, aap dono ka kamra upar hai " .. the lady said smiling showing her yellow teeth's … taani turned around and smiled at her " ji aap mujhe , malkin mat bulayiye .. aap dono muje taani bula sakte hain" taani said to the lady
" ji .. mein malti .. aur [the lady dropped her head shyly] ye mera …
"uhhh.. bitiya , mein Salim.. iska pati .." the man looked annoyed towards his wife who was still smiling shyly
Taani smiled at the two and ascended the steps, hoping to find him upstairs ..
She found the door to a room opened .. she looked inside and found him in some phone call.. she walked in
"lock it hand over the keys to my house .. did you get that ??" he was shouting at someone through the phone .. she wondered to whom he was speaking like that
" what kria mam and all.. don't you understand what I say .. was it she who used to pay you?? Nahi na??? don't increase my pressure .. obey my orders …" he barked through the phone .. she was terrified seeing his behavior .. she felt sorry for his prey at the other end …
" kria mam??!!" she wondered having heard an unknown name … " whoever it is what it has to do with me .." she said to herself, neglecting what she had heard .. that 's when she noticed the fireplace at the other end of the room.. she was about to move towards it when he turned and stopped forward.. had it been a second more fast , they would have crashed with each other
" tum???" he said
" ha.." she replied
" tum yahan kya kar rahi ho?? Ohhh mera peecha kar rahi thi??.. you were spying me??.. you were hearing what I was talking on phone??.. " he was about to utter the rest but before that came her reply
" ohh hellooo!! Why should I spy you ?? are you mad rey??? Why should I hide and hear your talks?? Sunoo .. I am not like you ok?? .. I am new to this place and offcourse seeing you here I thought it would be our bedroom and so I entered and I am a human .. if you shout like that on phone offcourse I might hear. … but that doesn't mean I am spying you!!" she said all in one go … there was a moment of silence .. both were looking into each others eyes … her eyes reflected anger , while his shock …
He straightened his face .. walked away towards his bag , pulled out his clothes and went in the washroom changed his clothes and came out .. he went towards the bed and sat on it .. he was about to put on his stockings as it was chilling cold ….thats when she noticed her standing like that staring at him "what ?? why are you standing like that??" he asked lifting his head to look towards her
" mere pass kapde nahi hain!!" she said with a frown
" ha toh mein kya karun !!!" he bounced back
" huh!!! Aap aise kaise bol sakte hain" she said " mere kapde geele ho gaye hain aur mere pass aur koi kapde nahi hain aur upar se itne thand hai yahan and koi solution batane ki jagah aap mujhse aise baat karenge???"
" listen,[he got up from his position and walked towards her] don't raise your voice like that ok??[he stepped forward and she took a step backward]... your bag got stolen becoz of you .. I told you right, that I will hold them??? [he barked , taking one more step forward while she stepped back ward]But then you showed your attitude .. and result .. they got stolen!![he raised his hands mocking her and moved forward again while she took equal steps back] and then … without using your brains .. you went out to stand in the rain and got yourselves soaked .. had not I came with the coat …
He paused remembering what all happened in the rain.. she was also standing mum….he quickly regained himself from the trance and without saying anything walked towards his bag's.. he pulled out a full sleeve tshirt and pants and extended it over to her ..
"lo.. yeh pehen lo" he said
" kya!!!.. [she almost screamed but seeing his expression calmed herself ]naiii mein nahi pehnungi!!... mein.. kaise …" she looked at the clothes in a doubtful expression
" toh phir aise raho" he said throwing the clothes on the bed and he walked towards the other side of the bed…
She stood there for some more seconds … soon she understood she had no other way other than that … she walked towards the bed and grabbed the dress and walked towards the wash room..
After a few minutes .. she opened the door and came out .. he sat on the bed , resting his back on the backrest and texting someone.. she made her steps slowly towards the bed .. he finished texting and kept the tab on the side table .. and turned to his left .. that was when his eyes met her… she looked cute in his clothes … he didn't know.. but he was smiling …. She felt more uncomfortable seeing him stare at her like that…his look came like hot xray's …she looked at either sides and then said " ji.. mujhe sona hai …"
" huhh??" he was pulled out of the long stare " and when did I stop you from sleeping???" he asked with a naughty smile
" mera voh matlab nahi tha…. Aap… aap please lights off kijiye .."she said as she sat on the other side of the bed
" ohh hello .. I am not your servant ok?? .. if you want go and off yourself " he said and laid on the bed
"huhh??switch is on your side right.. and you cant do that ???" she shouted in anger
" NO!!" he said stubborn laying comfortably on the bed facing her and gave a foul smile to her
" huhh!!!" she murmured being irritated and leaned herself towards the lamp on his side ..she leaned over him and her hair fell all over his face.. it caressed his face and he closed his eyes unknowingly feeling her hair…it felt like being caressed with wet cold soft feather….she leaned over him further trying to reach the lamp but slipped on the silky bedsheet and her upper body fell on his chest.. None moved for a minute …he moved her hair from his face slowly …
"sorry !!" she said slowly feeling awkward… she got up and moved towards the side .. he leaned and switched off the light …
Both were about to lay down and caught hold of the blanket at the same time …she looked towards him and he looked towards her ….
" blanket mujhe chahiye!!..." she said frowning holding one end of the blanket
"but this is mine !!" he said pulling it towards him
" aisa thodi na likha hai ispe !!" she said pulling it towards her
"likhne ki zaroorat nahi hai .. its mine I said " he said pulling it towards him
"but mujhe chahiye …" she said pulling it further towards her
" meine kaha na .. mera hai …" he said pulling towards him
"mujhe thand lag rahi hai!!!aap samajhte kyu nahi!!!"she frowned and pulled it and don't know how his grip got loose.. she was looking so cute while she pouted like a kid .. he let the blanket go and laid down .. she too laid down and pulled the blanket over her ..
'He might also be feeling cold … I should not have done that.. ' she was feeling disturbed .. it has been almost half an hour but she couldn't sleep .. she got up and turned to him.. but she found his eyes closed … he fell asleep!... she pulled the other side of the blanket over him and laid down adjusting herself in a small portion of the blanket's other side …
After 7 hours -11am,
" mmm…" he groaned in his sleep
" hmmm…" she left a drowsy moan
"oucchhh!!!" he groaned higher feeling a weight fall on his forehead.. he tried to open his eyes ..his vision was blur … he tried to open his eyes further .. he looked sideways and found a portion of her hand ..he looked up.. it was her hand on his forehead .. his eyes widened ..he looked forward …. The cutest scene he had seen in his life.. she lay snuggled on his chest holding him tight with her other hand .. her silky hairs covered half of her face.. she looked more cute with those silky curls covering her face.. there was some kind of a magnetism … he raised his arms slowly and with his fingers tried removing the hair that covered her face … he was so keen not to disturb her sleep, may be he wasn't more keen in doing anything else in his life!!!!!!!..
" mmm" she groaned being disturbed and he quickly withdrew his hand not to disturb her .. she moved her hand down in sleep .. it was now on his mouth.. he widened his eyes further .. her palm covered his nose and mouth..
With his hand he tried moving her palm slowly from his mouth …" mmm…." She groaned and opened her eyes a little … her vision was blur but still she could see him…slowly her vision became more clear and she found his face so near to her .. she quickly rubbed her eyes ..she looked around and found she was lying on his chest.. she looked upto him… he was still looking at her .. quickly she got up and sat on her side .. he too slid up from his position.. she was looking at him through the corner of her eyes ..he got out from the bed and moved towards the washroom
After half hour
Rey was getting ready while she was sitting on the bed .. she knew he was planning to go out … he was about to keep his wallet in his pocket and to move when she called from behind
" Rey.."
He paused and turned back
" I need to buy clothes .." she said
" oh ha.. I will tell Salim Kaaka to arrange the cab.. you can go and buy .. I will be back only by evening .. I need to visit our office here .." he replied
" but .. I cant.. I mean … I cant go out in these clothes " she said
"hmm... I will get them " he said .. she looked towards him …he moved towards the door and left.
